Quick service although this branch seems to constantly have problems regarding staffing and being able to make hot drinks plus on a number of occasions not cups or glasses due to dish washer not working

Never in my life have I experienced such VILE customer service! Myself my mum and child went for our usual Costa coffee visit as we do weekly and Costa should be ASHAMED of the ?staff? they employe. We ordered our food and drinks and yes we can appreciate that it was busy in the store that is why once we ordered we sat and waited a reasonable amount of time. We both received our food orders, we started to eat whilst still not receiving our coffees. We waited another 20 minutes which in my opinion I think it?s appropriate. My mum then went up to the counter to ask how much longer the coffees would be, then all of a sudden I heard one of the employees with a very strong Irish accent raise her voice to my mum by saying ?can?t you see how busy we are you will get your coffee when you get your coffee? so I sat there without saying anything to the member of staff until I saw her talking to another work colleague saying ?did you sat see that then haha told her? regarding how she spoke to my mum a regular PAYING CUSTOMER! After i confronted the situation the member of staff said ?it?s not in my job description to be nice to people?? Then the ?manager? proceeded to advise that myself my mum and child leave the premises because I decided to defend my mum and myself in a situation which should of been dealt with properly and respectfully to begin with! My advice to anyone wanting a ?relaxing? coffee is to not bother wasting their time and money in a poorly run establishment. Hopefully this get rectified properly and their will be no more abuse from young student staff.

Wonderful place to have a best coffee in town, nice ambient sitting. Every time I visit the store the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Mostly the Indian guy very helpful and cheerful. ??

We had few negative experiences in this Costa. Sometimes dogs are allowed, other times not.Last time I went to the loo with my daughter and left our belongings and coats on the chairs but when we came back our drinks and toasts were gone. My daughter was really upset and I asked for a KitKat bunny as it was not been given to me when I ordered a KitKat frappé ( it was supposed to be given with every KitKat drink). We were told they ran out. Instead of offering a new toast the barista gave a biscuit to my daughter as she was really upset. Quite annoying a ham and mature cheddar toast coasts more than £5. We will head to cafe Nero from now on.

Happy all round, was busy at the time of our visit but was not unduly waiting, all staff we encountered were helpful and cheery which is rare these days. Thank for a pleasant experience .??????????

I have visited this store a few times and want to praise how amazing the staff are, they are always extremely friendly, happy, helpful. Even when they have been extremely busy they always go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service and feel that they need to be acknowledged for the incredible job they are doing. ?????

As a regular visitor to our Otley branch of Costa,I can highly recommend! I visit regularly on a Wednesday with my grandchildren and always receive a warm welcome and really good service. All the staff are friendly and helpful,especially Matthew and Mia who deal with my complicated order with great patience and a smile!! Lovely staff all kept cheerful by their amazing manager,Carl. Strongly recommend a visit!

Karl, Martha and Matthew were amazing this morning. Waited patienty for my app to update to collect my loyalty beans. All wjislt serving up fabulous hot chocolates. Great service.

This Costa has the most friendly staff. It was busy when we visited but the staff were lovely and so helpful. The drinks were lovely and it?s very clean!

Always a great welcome and atmosphere as well as fabulous coffee. Otley Costa is the best - such a warm welcome makes for a very enjoyable visit. Karl the manager makes sure his team are really well trained in providing a service as well as the best coffees and snacks. One of the reasons we go in most days !
