“Called in to discuss upgrading my broadband package. I spoke to Michael, who was friendly, chatty, helpful and professional. He was knowledgeable in the subject and gave me food for thought on my query. I decided not to upgrade just yet, as I'm going to see my current contract out.I don't usually like being pounced on when I walk in a store, but Michael was laid back and casual with it. A great approach. It didn't feel forceful, and I didn't feel pressured into making a purchase.Contrast that with my visit to the Vodafone store, shortly after, and it was day and night. With Vodafone, I was hardly through the door before three staff members were vying for my attention. They seemed forceful and deceptive. Very 80's double glazing salesman approach. I had several different routers in my face and was being told when the installers could be there before I even knew the price of the package. I was struggling to get a word in and had to make a reason to leave without buying.I'll be returning to this EE store when I do decide to upgrade. Great customer service, as I've had from this store before. Thanks.”

“Staff are great but let down on some occasions by "lifetime warranties'.An example could be a flexible screen mobile with a faulty loud speaker.... not covered due to a pin head diameter mark on the screen.So, go there for the offers and service but DON'T be fooled by the warranty process.Spot the damage? Nope nor do I !!!”

“I came to PC World with a broken laptop looking to by a new one. I had previously been to a laptop repair shop in Headingley after my screen broke. I was told by the repair shop in Headingley that there was many other damages to the laptop such as overheating, damaged hardrive etc. which I was very unaware of. I was quoted £220 of repairs for my laptop which I was why I decided to buy a new one. I explained my situation to the lovely technicians at PC World and they asked if they could have a look at my laptop. After turning it on and having a brief look, they advised me that there didn't appear to be anything wrong with the laptop other than the screen, therefore I had been scammed by the previous repair shop. Big thank you to the guys at PC World who were really helpful and honest and saved me wasting my money buying a new laptop unnecessarily! My laptop has now been sent off to have a new screen which will only cost between £40/£50... Not the £220 I was falsely quoted from a dodgy repair shop in Headingley!”

The staff are extremely helpful, not pushy just available when you need help. They have a range of different games too, X box, ps3,4 and 5. Games consoles, figures for skylanders etc and a wide range of mobile phones.”
