I bought an iron from this shop, and because it had a problem, I returned it according to the law and requested a new one from them. However, they sent me to another shop in LS10, and when I went there, they rudely told me to go back to the branch where I made the request. I returned to them and asked why they wasted my time and harassed me. They said, "Go home, and we'll call you within a week to get another iron." They didn't call, and after 10 days, I went to the shop myself. Unfortunately, they gave me a used product, and the management there treated me very badly and rudely, saying, "Just take this, and we don't have another iron." I am not satisfied with them at all, and I never recommend buying from this shop. I regret it deeply.

Whether it's buying a new computer or changing broadband providers, this store has it all.

I came to PC World with a broken laptop looking to by a new one. I had previously been to a laptop repair shop in Headingley after my screen broke. I was told by the repair shop in Headingley that there was many other damages to the laptop such as overheating, damaged hardrive etc. which I was very unaware of. I was quoted £220 of repairs for my laptop which I was why I decided to buy a new one. I explained my situation to the lovely technicians at PC World and they asked if they could have a look at my laptop. After turning it on and having a brief look, they advised me that there didn't appear to be anything wrong with the laptop other than the screen, therefore I had been scammed by the previous repair shop.
Big thank you to the guys at PC World who were really helpful and honest and saved me wasting my money buying a new laptop unnecessarily! My laptop has now been sent off to have a new screen which will only cost between £40/£50... Not the £220 I was falsely quoted from a dodgy repair shop in Headingley!

I came to this store to pick up a laptop that the lovely people at the white rose store had reserved for me along with livesafe internet security for £19.99 as they were price matching Argos. My opinion of this store wasn't great since I got tricked into a finance option meant for businesses rather than home use and got stung massively financially. However I wanted my laptop, I was initially sent upstairs by 2 nice guys at the collection point and when I got there I was asked to take a seat, I waited around 10 min for the guy to get the laptop and while I was waiting I witnessed an old gentleman with a black eye talking to an employee about security cameras, the old man was a little hard of hearing and both me and my mother were disgusted when the employee walked away to show him some other equipment but didn't wait or help the guy place the other items back. Once I got my laptop and was taken downstairs to pay, the guy tried his best to not do my internet security at the price promised telling me about all the codes he had to put through the till to get the offer, even had the cheek to try and get out of an extra £5. I was made to feel like I was putting you out when really it was me that had to come from near the white rose to Leeds to get the laptop I wanted. I was a manager myself in a retail store and in my opinion you need to retrain all your staff in customer service cause clearly these lot have non. Quite a contrast between the 2 stores. I did want a nice new camera as well for my photography but I'll be going to a different company completely from now on.
