Me and 2 friends stayed for 1 night last night (16th march) arrived by a friendly receptionist, happy to help and also reassured us when the hotel was unmanned during the night that security would be happy to help, lovely room, prefect location with only a stone throw away from nightclubs shops and the train station. We have all said we will definitely recommend and would defiantly use the hotel again if we visit Leeds again.Rooms: Clean and spacious.Nearby activities: It is clear the area is very much about the nightlife which ia great for the location of the hotel.Safety: When the hotel was unmanned during the night we was given reassurance that security would be there if we did need anything.Walkability: Very close to all shops, nightlife and the train station.

Right nextdoor to a nightclub. Extremely loud dance music vibrating through the walls until 5am. They do not inform us of this risk before booking and it is SO LOUD they cant possibly claim ignorance to this

My work booked this hotel for a Tuesday night. The worst place you can stay in termsof noise from the club below. There was also a 24hr generator outside adding to the ambient noise. To top off my trip they deducted £36 from the £50 authorisation payment for room service items that I never used with no breakdown of what was used or an invoice for these alleged items. Called them numerous times with no response until I finally got through, very unhelpful and still have not received anything regarding my issue. I also emailed and received no reply. Avoid avoid these scammersEdit - Briggate hotel I DID NOT USE ANY OF YOUR OVERPRICED ITEMS FROM THE ROOM. OTHER PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE, WITH YOU TAKING WHATEVER YOU PLEASE FROM THE DEPOSIT.

Stayed at the Briggate on Friday the 9th room 11 and throughly enjoyed our stay staff couldn?t have been nicer and great bars and clubs around 2 minutes away only downfall was the noise from the club next door however ear plugs are provided to make it better room was spotless on arrival and they also decorated the room for my girlfriends birthday

i stayed at the hotel with my boyfriend, we were having a night away. the room was really cosy and hotel is in a great central location. it was noisy but we managed to sleep as we had been out day drinking. i think it is great for if you are having a night out etc. we would stay again. great service too

Literally the worst hotel I've stayed in.The hotel is literally on top of a club that is open till 4am, however it might as well be in the club. The music vibrates the room all night so there's no chance of any sleep. If you could sleep through the music, chances are the occupants of the next room will keep you up because of the paper thin walls.I'm not even going to mention the state of the room as it's not worth it. The only purpose of a hotel is to sleep and if you can't do that then it doesn't matter if the room is amazing, it's not going to help you sleep if it's too noisy to sleep.Safety: If you want to stay sane avoid this hotel. The amount of sleep you'll get us not safe.Noteworthy details: Unable to sleep.

Very friendly staff, free entry and a drink at the bar below ! Went around Halloween weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. Great location in the city centre. Absolutely loved the vending mechine on the first floor, had snacks and mini bar. Definitely worth it.(decorations done myself but they offer similar packages and add ons for the room aswell, bottle of prosecco ect.)Noteworthy details: There are quite a few stairs to get to some of the rooms

Mixed feelings about this place. I arrived and was pleasantly surprised about the place, nice service to check into room, character of the room and decent facilities. Then I went out for an evening meal and came back around 9pm to a club opening up next door to the hotel entrance. Cue banging music until 2am, floor vibrating, shouting outside the window whilst smoking. I used the supplied ear plugs (now I know why they're left out with the towels!) But it still wasn't enough to let me get to sleep.This would be a great place if you're going to leeds for a proper night out, or hen/stag do, that's really all it feels suitable for. I stayed for work midweek and had presumed, wrongly, that despite reading the reviews about noise, that on a Wednesday it wouldn't be so loud.... obviously I was wrong!Last thing - the lighting going up the stairs is terrible!! I'm not a grumpy old person with bad eyesight, I'm only 37!! But I literally stumbled over the steps going up and down stairs, and I'd not had as much to drink as I imagine those in the club had!Rooms: I went for the cheapest room for a work stay, it wasn't massive but it had some character and all the facilities you need. The shower was a bit grotty though and needed an update.

Stayed here a couple of times now, it is a great place with comfortable beds and depending on the room a balcony with a bistro table, they proved extras that you might have forgot like phone chargers etc at additional cost, its in a great location close to the night life of Leeds with trinity parking nearby and not to far from the train station..It is above a bar and next to the train tracks so if u are wanting an early night this is not the place for u, the rooms are upstairs and no lift avaliable so take this into consideration if u have mobility difficultiesRooms: Has an ensuite, rooms ideal for groups with having 2 double beds in them

Stayed in room no 1, the room was super clean, modern and was bigger than we thought after looking at the photos. The room also had smart tv which was a nice touch.When booking direct you also get benefits like free late check out which we were not aware of that kind receptionist automatically added on for us!Only negative from the stay was that the room was very hot and we were facing the main road meaning you could hear traffic and building work early in the morning, the fan in the room also did not really do anything.Would definitely stay here again but not facing the main road.
