I did like shopping here previously the staff are great however recently it has been more difficult to access the shopping.they have now added onepound trolleys, whilst not selling coins.I need a trolley when shopping with my autistic child to get around better so I have to buy 2.50 corned beef when I forget them which causes more trouble to get in and out with him.I then opted for click and collect which had been going fine until they updated the app and now I have had 2 error transactions this month which they have taken payment and no transaction which means I then have to fight for the money back and wait for the process to solve which means money withheld.which now means I cannot trust to shop online.id be reluctant to go in store for big amounts now too as I am aware this happened recently to a neighbour who had to wait for her £150 duplicate payment to bounce back.If I need to go in store now it will be under £30 during school times just to protect myself but more likely will be shopping elsewhere in future to avoid hassle

This is my local supermarket, but even I have to admit, it's not my preferred. I shop here purely due to convenience, for the selection feels lacking or limited; there's hardly any fresh fish..just the smoked stuff. I find ASDA grapes not much better than Lidl ones...inspect it all fully, as the bunch always seems to be rotting from the inside when I take it home. Maybe I should just stop buying grapes from ASDA. I'm uncertain what they do well or better than other supermarkets, other than securing convenient locations with tons footfall, along a road with a frequent bus route (Killingbeck ?). Asda, what do you do well...what can I buy here that is of better quality that someone else can't also provide?

Previously my local Asda.
Avoid at all costs!
If your looking for customer service, you won't find any here. You will find more help from the abundance of homeless who sit around the entrance begging and taking drugs than you will from the staff (especially on self service)
As for the products, don't make the assumption that this Asda will have anything in stock. Go in with the mentality that they have nothing on the shelves. As this is often the case and you'll avoid the inevitable disappointment.
One could also be easily mistaken that you don't have to pay for products here. As its a routine accurance that you will see thieves and kids taking products and running off.
I'd also advise you to have a security team or to wear PPE when visiting the store. The abundance or crime around the carpark is astronomical. You simply only need to Google this supermarket to see the crime reports. For this reason, my partner would not go to this ASDA unaccompanied.
On the pro side, the in house security (not mitie) are pleseant, will have banter and are the most helpful. Even though they have a daily battle on their hands.

Dreadful. Zero customer service, incompetent employees with appalling attitudes and zero knowledge of anything when you speak to them, grunt replies and clearly have no interest in working there. Gone massively downhill. Avoid at all costs.

Recently visited asda on york Road to look for something new to wear for a party.very disappointed that there is no fitting rooms to be able to try the clothes on and the absolute offensive smell that was coming from the toilet area which is right next to the ladies section is disgusting. I will never buy clothes from there.

Today, really very had to express the approach of Customer care service staff with the customer. She don't want to hear the problem of a customer and not trying to solve and simply making complicated and ignored.
Really we should appreciate the customer service staff from Crown Point ASDA, they were very supportive and smoothly handled the problem.
