I attended my 14:40 appointment today and was left very disappointed by the way I was treated.
I arrived on time and stood at the desk for around 10 minutes. During that time, two members of staff assisted other customers, both making direct eye contact with me on several occasions, but neither acknowledged my presence. Another staff member also came to the desk twice while I was waiting and similarly ignored me.
As someone with a disability who uses a crutch, standing for extended periods is not easy. I completely understand if staff are busy or appointments are running late, but a simple acknowledgment such as, ?We?ll be with you shortly? or ?Please have a seat while we finish up? would have made all the difference.
Instead, when I finally asked if they have any customer service, I was told, ?I?m almost done here.? That kind of dismissive response only added to the frustration.
In the end, I left without being seen, as being ignored for 10 minutes without any communication was unacceptable.
I would like reassurance that this issue will be addressed so that future patients, particularly those with disabilities, are treated with the basic courtesy and respect they deserve!!! Bad customer service Asda should do better.

They never answer the phone
Out of the times I've rang, they've picked up once. I see that this has been an issue even 2 years ago with a response to provide feedback to its employees. Well I hate to tell you, nothing has changed. Asda management should be aware, I feel as though they might not be.

No humanity what so ever,
My mum is a cancer patient under going treatment
No text reminder, for appointment rung to recheck no answer. Turned up 7 minutes late told can?t go ahead.
We said we was happy to wait told that can?t happen.

Abaolute waste of time! Don't bother making appointment as you will be told a day and time but when you turn up it will be completely different! Once would be put down to a genuine mistake BUT TWICE in one week is ridiculous! 'Oh I'm so sorry I'm not sure what happened or I'm confused in what has been booked in' really doesn't cut it. Time for official complaint and find somewhere new to go who know how to book appointments and deal with issues!

This is my second pair of glasses from Asda killingbeck as ever excellent service and value had a slight issue with lenses when I picked up however they sorted it out without any fuss I can?t praise Gary enough he was professional and courteous throughout and all round excellent customer service well done Asda I can?t recommend them enough

As with when I originally bought my glasses, this place never snswers its phone. Wasted hours trying to get hold of them. Disgraceful.Now trying to ring again to check something before making a very long journey possibly for nothing and getting same result. They just keep cutting the phone off. Totally disgusting.

I?ve shopped at asda for many years. Never thought to get my glasses there.Then I read they were offering free varifocals. As I usually pay an extra £50 plus for this. Also free extra thin lenses, Again something I usually pay extra for. From another very well known opticians. I thought I?d give asda a try. Well I must say I?m very impressed with their service. Lovely glasses. Plenty of choice. A small problem very quickly sorted out by Gary the manager. Really friendly staff. Hardly any wait time when I arrived for my appointments. When I went back to collect my glasses nothing was too much trouble fitting them and getting them comfortable. It?s Asda Options for me from now on. Thank you Gary and staff at Asda Opticians Killingbeck store Leeds.

I started going to Asda Opticians 2 years ago, mainly because it was so handy because it's situated within my local Asda store. I was very impressed with the entire service provided and was extremely happy with my new glasses. I have recently returned to Asda for a another eye test, and, as before the service was incredibly professional. The staff are wonderful and they spend as much time as you need, including helping you choose frames, etc. My glasses were ready within 3 days, including weekend, cannot ask for more. I would highly recommend this opticians.
