Mario stayed with me upto 5 hours and allowed me to stay inside his car while my partner arrived with a good attitude and life gisting, appreciate it?s attitude and I will like everyone to do same, promotion Babajide.

Personally like to Thank Olivia, who has been amazing dealing with enquiries raised. Although I have not been successful with the property on this occasion, however Olivia carried out all effort effectively and in timely manner, with smooth communication. Olivia work is highly appreciated, and should be noted by the firm, as I believe her commitment to her role is great asset to the growth of the business.I do and feel sense of hope that the team will find me and my family a suitable home in the very near future.Like to also thank Mario for his continuous hard work & management.

I contacted Acsend Leeds as my efforts to contact another Ascend branch (in connection with renewing my tenancy). I was seeking someone who could make contact internally with the other branch to have them contact me.The phone at Leeds was answered by Mario. When I explained my difficulty, he took it on himself to contact the other branch and an agent from that branch contacted me within a short space of time and the renewal process is under way.Mario was good enough to make contact with me to tell me he had made contact and I was able to tell him what had transpired since I first rang him.This was indeed excellent service and I wish to highlight the assistance given to me by Mario.

Ascend is probably the most insensitive agent to end up with if you are looking for a place to rent. We stayed in our furnished apartment with torn sofas for more about a year despite several attempts to make them aware. Company not in anyway organised, everyone in the company works at variance with the other. Made efforts to see that our security deposit is not refunded by coming up with several things to be repaired despite the fact that we did not damage them.

We are family of 3 migrated to UK in Jan 2022.We stayed at Simple life semi detached home for 1 year. As we are new immigrants and had no experience in renting house in UK.Simple life required us for 12 months rent upfront as well as deposit .Besides their staff suggested we can offer to paid more than their requested in the market so as to get a higher chance being chosen by simple life.At the end we paid 150£ more than they posted in Rightmove to rent a3 bedrooms semi-detached in S2 Sheffield.3 months before tenancy agreement due for renewal and an email from simple life to us sayingThey are happy to offer us a tenancy renewal at the current market rent of £1250 PCM for a period of 12 months.That's from £1150 to £1250 PCM100£ more pcm for a Band A council tax of a 3 bedrooms semi-detached at S2 Sheffield.Our neighbour paying not more than £900 PCM for a 4 bedrooms semi-detached and simple life only asked them for 40£ more when renewing tenancy agreement with them.Another neighbour asked for £70 more from simple life for tenancy renewal with their 3 bedrooms semi-detached which they paid not more than £900 PCM .I am not commenting about overpriced but It's good to know rental increment from simple life will be subject to the background of each tenant as well as their so called CURRENT MARKET RENT rate.Houses of Simple life not only a Good Looking property from outside.I had been emailed at least 4 times to inform simple life's Asset manager about not renewing tenancy agreement with them.Luckily got an auto reply email after 3 attempts and saying Asset manager already left this company .As far as i know she was the 4th Asset managers during our 1 year stay in simple life property.Not to mention I had to look for somebody else in Simple life's immaculate website to look for a staff who still availableand giving a one month notice regarding tenancy agreement.Not surprisingly why tenant's concerns not being addressed and resolved promptly .

We have lived in our rental apartment for a little over 2 years now with Ascend managing, and it has been a breeze. Any problems can be reported easily and they are taken care of quickly and professionally. It's also been great to be able to use online portals and such to do things that would normally require travelling or someone coming to the property. Would absolutely recommend!

Loved the look of a flat to rent in June, when I put through an enquiry they emailed back quickly to ask for an extended list of my details. I provided all of this and then heard nothing- emailed again to see if it had been received and nothing for 2 weeks now. Now concerned I have left all of my personal details to a fraudulent email as not heard a word.

The worst ever experience I have ever had. I moved in to the apartment and there was no power, I called the agency and was told they couldn?t help as the energy company will only relate to the account owner. I spent 4hours on the phone with the energy company trying all sorts and waited for another 5hours for an engineer to show up who never did. The apartment was so cold, no power couldn?t cook, nothing. Only to find out that the account is listed to Ascend Estates Limited. Which should make sense, because during viewings, there was always power, now moving in, nothing, nada. Had to spent night at an Airbnb, couldn?t sleep in the apartment I paid for due to terrible cold. No one from the agency even called to find out how we had settled in, I tried all the numbers that went through during viewings, referencing, payment, now there is a problem on Day 1, no one picked up their call?..Just Terrible.
