Eat Sunday Roast here September 2024. Excellent! Service 10/10, food 10/10, Beer 10/10. It?s a very fine pub with Timmy Taylor?s on pump, lovely setting near the RSPB reserve. The Sunday roast beef meal we had was quite incredible.

Had lunch there on Saturday, very nice food my wife had goats cheese parcel which was amazing.
The pie was okay, needed something but all in all a good meal.
New ownership offering food has made a difference to the atmosphere, no longer an old local and more welcoming now.

Had a fantastic time at the Three Horse Shoes who hosted a Christening for our long time friends from Castleford.The pub was very cosy, everyone was so friendly and Landlord and his team could not do enough to ensure we all had a great time.By the way the men?s toilets were immaculate and smelt so nice, something that is overlooked in many pubs/clubs ?We would definitely recommend this establishment for any family events.Thanks again, Mark & Jan,

Quite little pub in a picturesque village with good food. Perfect stop of if you're planning a walk around the ings.
