Not impressed tbh, the main dish was ok, but the salt n pepper chips were poor, felt very reheated and rubbery ,spice was about correct but very little onions, peppers etc ...considering s and p chips are expensive for what they are i,d expect better

Just had a special curry chips rice onion rings and beef mushrooms and chips was told be half hour 40 mins came after 10 min chips was rock hard inedible beef chewy and horrible all went in bin wot a waste of 27 pounds never again

This is the only Chinese we use. It?s the best there is in the Pontefract area. The food is always spot on. It seems everyone else thinks so too, which is why delivery has taken up to 2 hours on occasions. So be prepared to wait!I do find it very expensive, particularly for the delivery charge. We live close to Pontefract town centre and the place is in Knottingley, so not too far. However, 6 pound something for a delivery charge, when ordering from their website?? Far too much. We won?t be ordering as much now.

Superb food! Lovely fresh ingredients with non of the stodgy greasy features of some establishments. The vegetables were cooked beautifully. A Taste of China never disappoints. Their takeaway food is always hot and ready to

This place is shocking I ordered a meal and waited for it to be delivered for 2 hours and when i called to check on this on the phone the staff was very rude and talked to me like she's doing me a favour! Too expensive and not worth the hassle I will never go back to this place !!

Ordered tonight and the food turned up cold. I rang and was offered replacement food which I accepted. Nearly another hour in and no food and was told the boss wasn?t replacing the food and will refund. I give them their due he brought the refund round promptly but told us never to order from them again.Sad night because food has always been top notch from these prior to this. Obviously will never order again on their own recommendation. Disappointed to have to write this comment. Was willing to accept replacement but was told we were no longer welcome to place orders.

Ordered from here last night they do an absolutley amazing salt and pepper share box came quick and the food was fresh on arrival would 100% would recommend great food at a great price.
