The hotel is just outside the sign for pontefract. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel, especially our 2 rooms, were kept very clean.There isnt a lift, my brother has a walking stick and did have trouble with the stairs on the colder/end of the day of busier days. We dont usually bother requesting a ground floor room becsuse there is usually a lift. Definitely worth what we paid

We visited this weekend for a long weekend for my partners birthday. Staff went above and beyond as when we entered our room they had placed a birthday banner, balloons and a card wine and chocolate. It was a very lovely welcome. I was a bit grumpy and tired upon arrival as we were a late check in but this made my partner and I very happy and grateful. Throughout the weekend staff were always friendly, helpful and happy. We would certainly return as it is also a good location to be in. It's so close to many link roads if traveling. ?

Sue gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, the room was clean and comfortable, Tony who manages the restaurant next door was quite strict but fair, the food was very nice.

Enjoyed stay ,staff fantastic elisha,lauren,fran,tony rachael,monika,becca,luke charlie,whitney all helpful and make stay enjoyable when working away from home.I cannot recommend this hotel enough quiet, close to a1 and leeds.stàff fantastic Tony, Benn,Amy,luke friendly,helpful and make you more than welcome during your stay they are a credit to Premier Inn chain and should be applauded for their hard work.Enjoyed stay as always.

Great location with easy access to the M18 and A1.On my last visit they were giving the hotel a redecoration.Mobile phone signal on some networks isn?t great here.Pokémon Go players - the adjacent Restaurant is a Gym which can be interacted with from most rooms. There is a Pokestop on the road to but only reachable from the front car park. This Pokestop is the start and finish of a Route also.Nearby activities: Pokémon Go. Gym and Pokestop, plus a Route.

A very decent stop-off hotel. Like most Premier Inns, has the comfort/value ratio right, and the staff were very helpful. Used to be in the shadows of a coal-fired power station, luckily decommissioned now.

This is a tired Premier Inn.Reception staff were helpful and efficient. Room was OK comfy bed, clean and tidy.The overall feeling in the hotel is that it is well used.Food & drinks: The breakfast and food offer used the next door Brewers Fayre which was poorDecor, tables and seating are all very well used (to be polite)We chose not to eat in the evening as the food being served looked poorBreakfast in the morning confirmed our decision the night beforePoor quality breakfast - cold and dryer up food very disappointing as Premier Inns normally provide a good quality breakfast
