We only order because we use to know the place as Grand Bengal wich was not too bad place.
Really disapointed ,we ordered garlic chicken and also prawns,both dishes was made with some kind of cheap and sour mayonnaise sauce .
It was our first and last time for sure.

First time eating here and all I can say is wow wow wow. The best Indian meal I've had for years, tasty food, fresh ingredients with the right amount of spices without being burny hot. Will definitely be going back soon!

Fabulous food ?, absolutely beautiful. Food arrived in the time they said it would and it was piping hot. Never used Spice Q before, I will definitely be going again though, amazing take away. Thank you.

So I came here on 20-4-25 and did the set menu for £15. Ordered sizzling plate for 1. Wasn't even hot it was warm. And then ordered naga curry expecting it to blow my head off as I like spicy food but it wasn't spicy at all and then found some slimy chewy grisel in the curry. Then all they did was knock off charge for the poppadoms. I thought they was complimentary to be honest. And then to be told that you can't pay by card for the set meal cash only which doesn't say that on the menu or anything but basically I had no other choice but to pay it on my phone. Wasn't impressed at all in my opinion.

We had a take away for 5 of us and I have to say that it was the freshest Indian takeaway I've had in years. We had plenty for us all, exceptional value. The flavours were stunning and not soaked in ghee. Loved it!

Every time we have Grand Bengal the food is amazing ?? Always delicious and fresh! And we always have an amazing delivery driver (I think his name is Abdul) and he is so lovely always treats us so nicely he is amazing thank you so

I've been here several times and have always enjoyed it.This time, unfortunately, it wasn't what I was expecting.The waiter was quite abrupt and seemed to be baffled when we didn't opt for the nights meal deal. He then looked even more baffled when my wife and daughter decided to share a curry rather than have one each.When the order came through, it was wrong. They brought Bombay Aloo potatoes instead of the chips we ordered. When the chips did arrive, most of the curry had been eaten.The same waiter decided to reach over us while we were eating to take a small plate away. I mean, come on...are they that desperate for one small rice plate? I don't expect to be dodging an elbow whilst trying to eat.They then got the bill wrong, charging us for the potatoes we never ordered. Despite them saying these were on the house when they incorrectly arrived.Overall, not a great visit to this usually very good restaurant.Let's hope this is a rare off night.
