Great for a snack or light meal but also make great bread and cakes including proper Yorkshire curd tart!

Lovely food, service with a smile and very reasonable prices. You collect your own cutlery, but every item we picked up was either smeared with food or felt 'gritty'. Crockery was also covered in 'grit'. Staff cleaned the cutlery and politely apologised - but we found it off-putting.

The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic combined with the excellent service from the staff. Especially the young lad Luke went out of his way to serve us quickly and gave us great recommendations saying his favourite were the sausage rolls! The food came very fast and was delicious. Perfect meal for a day out walking round howarth, I will definitely be coming back.

Rude and bad mannered unprofessional staff. Expensive less than average food.

They show you one set of prices, then hike them outrageously when you choose to eat in. The young waitress clearly deals with the complaint that followed on a regular basis. This is the perfect destination if you?re looking for mediocre food and drink at exorbitant prices. Avoid!!!

Went here today for afternoon tea, when I asked the staff member for afternoon tea for two, she looked at one of her colleagues mouthed the words afternoon tea to her to which they both pulled a face, I asked for one ham sandwich and one tuna sandwich, and farmhouse fruit cake. When the meal came there was one ham sandwich and one cheese sandwich, I wanted to go up and ask for the order to be rectified but my husband said leave it we will just eat them. The sandwiches were on door stop slices of bread which was very dry, we were supposed to get salad also as garnish but there was no salad one the tray they brought out, everything was dry and had no taste at all. I couldn?t eat the cheese sandwich as it was very dry. I also asked for a bottle of water, I was told there wasn?t any bottled water but I could have a glass of tap water that was put in a dirty glass and was warm. We left half of the afternoon tea. A staff member asked me if I would like to take it away with me. I said no thank you it is the worst afternoon tea I have ever eaten, I also told her that the order was wrong to which she replied well it came through to me as cheese. Maybe if the younger staff were doing there job properly and not dancing around to the music the order would have been correct. Would never go here again.

Coffee with sour milk, overpriced and just overall poor experience

We came to this cafe for breakfast this morning, we have visited a few times in the past but not in over a year. There was a big group of us 8 in total but we managed to all get seated on 2 tables next to each other. It wasn?t too busy and we could all talk to each other still. Breakfast was really nice, I had a full English and the coffee was good too. Staff were friendly and food don?t even take 10 minutes to come out!

If it's a visit to Haworth (a once a year treat) then a stop off at Villette's is a must!
Situated on the busy Haworth high street, there's plenty of tempting treats from cakes to hot meals.
Sit near the window and watch the world go by.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Went in recently, had a voucher for a free drink..the coffee was nice. I also had a Yorkshire Curd Tart which also was nice, but rather expensive at £4.70 eating in , £1.70 more than take away. I say expensive because inside was nothing particularly special and villette used to be better value for money a few years ago.

A dirty place.
Even the Americano cup, which obviously shouldn?t have had any sugar, was sticky on the outside, and the coffee was so terrible it was undrinkable.
Everything was extremely dirty.
One of the staff members (probably the owner) was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and impolite.
My Pomeranian dog, who was inside a carrier on my lap, was ordered to be put under the table. Not even thirty seconds had passed as I was lifting the bag to move it under the table when she rudely and offensively insisted I put it there.
Not only are they not dog-friendly, but they seem to have a real hostility toward dogs.
I truly regret the money I spent I wish I had remembered to take a photo of that terrible coffee to be added here

Quaint, simple, efficient. Reasonable prices too. We had pasties and tea each and cost £13 in total.

*Unwelcoming and Rude Service Ruins Family Visit
My family and I had an extremely disappointing experience at this coffee shop in Haworth during what was meant to be a pleasant day out. As first-time visitors, we hoped for a warm, family-friendly atmosphere but encountered impatience and rudeness that shocked us.
My wife, our two young children, and I approached the counter to order lunch and drinks. Admittedly, we took a moment to decide on bread options for the sandwiches as I was juggling our kids? requests. Instead of showing understanding, the middle-aged woman behind the counter began huffing and puffing audibly, visibly annoyed at our brief delay. When I politely asked for a moment to finalise our choices, she *stormed off* mid-order, declaring she ?wasn?t dealing with us.? Her dismissive attitude was appalling?especially toward a family with young children simply trying to enjoy a meal together.
Frustrated and embarrassed, I cancelled our order with her colleague and left. We took our business to a nearby fish and chips shop, where the staff was kind, patient, and accommodating?proof that hospitality isn?t hard to get right.
This coffee shop?s lack of basic courtesy and professionalism ensured we never returned. Families deserve patience, not hostility when dining out. Save your time and money?there are far friendlier places in Haworth happy to welcome you
