Not the best experience. Was told the carpet fitting was free, however I ended up paying the carpet fitter £70? The underlay was the next grade down from the standard purchased in store? The carpet fitters damaged all the new glossing, however he did tell us which I thought was honest of him. There was huge bubbling in the fitting of the carpet. I was told it would settle but a month hence it?s still the same. Needless to say it?s not staying. Effectively a waste of time and money. I wish I had used the local independent carpet shop. I?ve looked at their reviews and they really care for their clients.Thank you for your response. No-one has been in touch and as you can see the fitting is shoddy. The invoice clearly states TO PAY It may be that your company play on words to make the fitting appear free, which it clearly is not.

Exceptionally good service. David? Was very professional and importantly very knowledgeable about the different type of carpets stocked. He patiently explained the pros and cons of each type of carpet, recommending the ones that would be most suitable for my needs. He made the buying decision a very easy one.

Absolutely amazing carpets. David was so kind and helpful. He sorted me out so quick and fixed me a great deal that I wouldn't find anywhere else. Even got me a sooner fitting date than I expect. I cannot thank him enough. Can't wait for the fitting day ?.

Went to the keighley branch for a quote , came across dave the manager , very friendly and knowledgeable person wasn?t pushy in any way . Gave us estimated price then came the next day to measure up . Very reasonable price and the fitters came the following Friday on time , brillaint work menship overall happy with the experience and highly would recommend again .

My mother arranged for the carpet man Barry to give her a quote, he never turned up and when she called them Barrt he said he didn't know about it, liar. Now i have looked at other reviews i see United Carpets as a micky mouse business

Just awful! So so rude! We used a year ago and the service in store by a small gentleman (if you can even call him that) was just awful, you know the sort that think there clever and talk down to you!Well we proceeded as u really wanted the carpet I'd picked and to be fair delivery and fitting was no problem.Went back yesterday and same chap had not progressed with his customers service skills in the last 12 months it seems. Discussion about stairs carpet and again just seems rude and almost tries to ridicule you! Asked about samples and he said something smart like why would I want to cut a piece of the carpet for you, so I said ok I'll go look with the 2 samples I've got from the other carpet shop and try see what they look like and we may come back as it's hard to imagine the colour without a sample, to which he stated another smart arse response like what good is a corner piece that won't help anyway not like a small piece would give u a true idea of what it will look like.Definitely avoiding and gone to carpet right down the road, great service in store and I will never go in United carpets again. Tried twice to be fair but this last time was enough to make my mind up I definitely won't be stepping foot in there again. Perhaps that's why it's always dead when we walk in!!Plus the shop looks grubby like some disused stuffy warehouse, shop needs a right good clean!!

Went in the shop to ask for a quote, guy at the reception was very friendly took my details and advised me that an agent will be in touch in the next couple of days to come and take measurements. 2 weeks later nothing....what a joke. I'll be taking my money elsewhere and tbh should have read the reviews in here before wasting my time as obviously this company is not a reliable one.

Worst fitting job I've ever seen. The carpet was "fitted" in a 10 foot square box room, it was fitted crooked so the patten was obviously out of line with the skirting board and there was a huge crease down the centre where it had been folded, had it been correctly stretched that would have gone.I got my tools out and refitted it my self!. Because it was so badly fitted there was enough to be able to straighten the pattern and pull it tight, they obviously don't have a clue what they are doing!.
