Hello. We have just come away from here. We are usuals and come every other week. We talked to the manager who didn?t seem to mind.
First off I was offered a CHILDRENS CARVERY. This goes up to 12 years old. I felt really offended. And when I got the adults meal your server didn?t offer me the king size upgrade so I commented on that. I in turn got a snotty reply of ? I thought you were a child so it doesn?t count?
When I confronted the manager she scoffed and replied ?I?d of taken the kids carvery it?s cheaper?
The food all was tasteless and floury. We won?t be back and feel really humiliated.

Came to Toby carvery this evening. There was barely no option. There was only one meat to chose from and hardly any vegetables. This is the second time in a row we?ve been here and this has happened

The barman was great, had a laugh with him, but honestly, no Guinness, no lemons, no peroni, ice was on rations...
Worth doing the extra half mile into town.

Good food at a nice place to eat at a reasonable cost. Prebook a table to save disappointment.
Disabled parking and toilets and entrance to building.
Parking: Plenty of car spaces

Came to Toby carvery to be told not taking any walk ins so I went on line and booked a table for 40 mins time. Place is very under staffed and the staff are overworked. Nowt like trying to reap all the money in, and not paying owt out. Place was a total state plates all over with food on and glasses all over the bar. Maybe if you employ more staff, they could accommodate for more people and maybe clean the place up.

So busy, but after a long wait for our booked table and queuing for 15 mins we got our food. The quality was good and I guess it was only busy because it was tasty and a great price.

We decided to order with Just Eat... the food came the was something that looked like a Yorkshire pudding turn up. Flat a soggy . This place has gone down in standards

I don't expect perfection from places like this but you certainly expect your order to be right especially when you only order 2 dishes and then when you end up with a hair in a dish and 1 dish not being what you ordered is just ridiculous. Been to this carvery many times and always had some sort of issues with food but the service is usually brilliant.

Good wholesome food. Does what it says on the tin. Always a great experience! Good value for money and great lamb on a weekend

Food is good here. Gets busy so good thing we come early. Only thing I would say is the tables are quite close together so can feel a bit cramped

Great food as per. Shame about the feral family allowing their child to watch kids tv on their phone full volume. If only headphones or tasers had been invented ?

Guy serving on the carvery needs training in customer service and how to deal with actual customer?s. Asked if any more Yorkshire puddings were due to come out he replied in a rude manner yeah when I go get them. Appalling reaction mate we are essentially paying your wages.

A really nice roast dinner and plenty of veg options as you'd expect. The beef and pork was well cooked and juicy. A great value Sunday roast. We ordered a meal off the under 6 menu and weren't told you still have to go collect this yourself. Perhaps we should have asked (at time of ordering). It's a shame staff dont advise you that some menu items are not delivered

It's my husband's favourite place to go but on Sunday it was awful there was no turkey the veg was dry, it wasn't cauliflower cheese and everything else was bad the counter was dirty it was so disappointing and to top it all I have been so bad with the sickness bug.
