It's ridiculous that a lot of people complain about one certain receptionist, yet she continues to keep her job! I know she has been spoken to several times by senior staff about her poor attitude, but it never changes. If you dare complain about her you get a very frosty reception next time. She's unprofessional and rude - unless you're her personal friend, and then she's happy to help and bend the rules. I've been sat in the waiting room previously when a pal of hers has come in and she's made them an appointment at the desk - which apparently she's not able to do because of "the rules".

Yesterday I had a face to face consultation with Dr Barron at Silsden Health Centre. Can I emphasise that I'm not usually comfortable in these circumstances? Our meeting yesterday was very different for me, being totally relaxed right from the start. Three issues which were causing me considerable concern were resolved easily. Dr. Barron listened carefully to what I had to say and all my questions were answered.This is no reflection on my previous visits to the health centre which have mostly been good, but yesterday was an exceptionally good experience from beginning to end. Special thanks to Dr Barron for making it so.

It is so hard to get help from the doctors now. You can't call. You have to complete a ridiculous long winded online form. That can only be filled in during office hours.This form is not relevant to a lot if medical conditions and took 20 mins to fill in.If your lucky you might get yourself a phone call from a doctor then.So many obstacles to accessing care now. They really don't want you to see anyone.

Just called in to the surgery to get some help. Looked at the website to see if busy but stated not busy on the graph. The receptionist was very helpful with my query of accessing details sent by doctor on my phone and sending photos to the surgery via link from doctor.

I have always found reception and clinical staff to be really helpful. It can be difficult yo make contact with long waits for tye phone to be answered

Very frustrating system - Almost impossible to arrange a non urgent appointment ..2 months in and still not been able to arrange an appointment - received two 'no reply' texts which were not of any help - unbelievably frustrating can see why people are heading to A@E this communitive system (group practice ) needs to change..

Regularly fail to send repeat prescriptions across to the pharmacy, and often items missing. This is after leaving around 7 days before attempting to pick up.

Hi just been on a call with one of the staff and she was so rude didn?t wanna hear what I said asked me questions in the wrong order then she put the phone down and said sorry there are no more appointments kinda a joke when you had an appointments On the same day you call found it very rude and made me feel worse in my self as the women had no respect and felt like she just wanted to get off the phone and do something elseNow have to call every other day to ask for a appointment which is pointless in having because they just say the same thing every time blood n a sample

Such a shame one or two of the receptionists let this surgery down. I have been treated in appalling manner again and again by V- her dislike of me actually prevents me from accessing the medical care I need with a long term condition. I was asked by both 111 and hospital ( in patient) to drop a sample off- as it was not on my record she refused and was unpleasant, unprofessional and openly rude. Thankfully her senior said they could take the sample but I had to ring triage before the would test it. As it happened the Dr rang me anyway/ thanked me for dropping the sample and apologised for how I had been treated, as did the lovely lady/ receptionist on triage. There is absolutely no need to treat patients like this- it is not the first time. I also object that a nurse who I did not even see has put on my medical record that I was the one that was rude to the receptionist. Complete unprofessional especially given she was not there,Utterly disgusting.

What a shame I can't give no stars. I called for a repeat prescription and was advised that they don't do repeat prescriptions over the phone and to order through the app. The only problem is that the asthma inhalers aren't listed. I have also had problems getting fit notes from them. This has resulted in delays in receiving ESA. Ironically they've sent me a text with a link to get advice about managing with the cost of living crisis!

I have been waiting over an hour for someone to answer phone just discharged from hospital and need to speak to a gp urgently it would be a good idea to do covid vaccines elsewhere and concentrate on being a surgery

Terrible practise. The receptionists are rude, and believe themselves above you. Good luck calling for an appointment.An appointment is a Nightmare and even when you see a doctor they contradict what the hospital staff say.

Rang this morning. I was 31 in the queue so choose automatic call back. Had a call 10 minutes later. Very professional lady receptionist put me on doctor call back. As promised doctor contact me before 12 o'clock. Listen very carefully and patience, prescribed medicine for my daughter said if need any more future help ring them back to face to face appointment. No problem at all all staff professional and friendly as usual. Thank you so much.
