So disappointed, I used to rate this takeaway but the Thai Red Curry I just had was disgusting. It consisted of chicken and courgette only, in a sauce (not red curry). One 3 mains ordered, the other were not particularly nice but I didn?t have them, I just helped bin them.

After The Orient being recommended by every man and their dog, I decided to try it for myself but boy, that's the last time I trust somebody else's recommendations.I have genuinely never been more disappointed regarding food in my whole life. Me and my partner ordered food Saturday night as a treat after a long week, but were displeasingly surprised at the simple lack of taste the whole order had, along with the meat being purely gristle. After two minutes of eating, we decided to throw the lot in the bin and eat elsewhere. Binning the food was the most pleasant part of The Orient.The lady who took our order was extremely nice and lovely to speak to, as well as the delivery driver. Cant fault them for their staff.

Just had a takeaway from here and it was delicious. So nice to have fresh veg in the meals. It was the best Chinese I've in 20 years. Definitely restaurant standards.

Staying in an Airbnb, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice takeaway. Googled and decided on the Orient Chinese Restaurant. A REALLY nice lady answered, and the delivery driver was amazing. He rang to say he was here, food hot delicious and HIGHLY recommend. If in the area we will DEFINITELY use this Restaurant again!! Many thanks to all!!

Just had a very good meal from Orient. Delivered on time by a friendly young man. All our three starters and mains were very tasty, good sized portions. Excellent value and can?t wait for next time. Highly recommended!!

We've been using the Orient for over a year now. We aren't big takeaway eaters at all but wanted a Chinese option delivered perhaps once a month, so we chose the Orient. Our initial experience wasn't great, the chips were always 'old', just never fresh. So we complained, and the quality improved on and off for a while. Sometimes the meal was great, and sometimes it wasn't great at all. The meal I had last night however, was just dreadful. The main meal was ok, but with the same old reheated chips again. The withered onion rings were almost prehistoric, bone dry and completely inedible. I complained, and to be fair the Orient offered more food.. but we've had enough of the lack of consistency that the Orient provides. It's a shame as when it's good, it's good.. but you can't send out yesterday's reheated food, or as in our case, you'll lose customers.
