Superb customer service from John Hutchinson over a period of months helping me to set up Internet Banking for elderly parents. This was not a straightforward process for an offshore LPA holder, however John is knowledgable, practical and patient, all attributes sadly not often found in customer facing staff these days. A big thank you John, you have been the only light in my ongoing struggle to sort things out!

We have visited the branch many times over recent months and each time the staff have been welcoming and extremely helpful. In these modern times it is so refreshing to be able to deal with real people face to face knowing that once you?ve left the branch any query and any transactions have been completed successfully. John and Sadia have always been especially helpful and always make us feel welcome and comfortable. We feel it is essential that local branches retain staff who can help customers with queries and transactions, especially as fraud in the banking business continues to rise.

After an awful hour and a half on the phone with HSBC I went in to Keighley branch and dealt with John. He was a credit (excuse the pun) to the branch and resolved my issue promptly and efficiently - a good reason to keep branches open HSBC!

We came to the branch with an issue that had occurred with an online application.
