Decent interest rates but awful online service. I changed my bank account but there is no way to change it with ecology online. Faq states to delete existing account details but this option isn't anywhere to be found online. Can't even send a secure message as this option isn't anywhere either.My only option was a full account closure which I actioned today.

Absolutely fantastic service from Kelly Tyson throughout. The whole self build mortgage process from start to finish was efficient, clear and reassuring. Everything required to gain the mortgage was fully explained. We now can?t wait to build our dream Passivhaus. Stacy and Anske Bax

A really beautiful sustainable building, with a green roof, solar panels and a staff veg garden. Dunno what they're like as a building society, but they definitely put their money where their mouth is in terms of their ethics.

Quality, honest banking business. Great to talk to real humans. Been with them for many years. Able to cope with self build and quirky building, unlike main stream.

We have used Ecology BS for a self build project and their efficiency is second to none. Informative, flexible and responsive. Couldn't fault them.
