Nipped in this morning 27th, came up to ilkley for a wedding from Nottingham, La Stazione is amazing, atmosphere, staff, food , drink, nothing was too much trouble , will visit again, keep doing what you do

Great service with a smile from all staff. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable. A lovely friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely return. I had the hot peppered pastrami, honey mustard and red onion panini with crisps on the side. With a delicious flat white.

What a gem. Only popped in for a coffee and felt like i was dropped into a nonna?s kitchen in the heart of naples. Fantastic, welcoming atmosphere created by the staff here. Oh and the coffee was great also.

A stellar pit-stop for refreshment with a unique vibe driven full tilt from opening to close by the hands-on team of owners and their serving staff.
Authentically inspired and Italian-founded, this place captures the essence of the fast paced, energetic urban Italian coffee house and crosses it with the best of friendly Yorkshire hospitality and mayve even some cheeky banter thrown in.
If you want a great, well-priced latte and to feel like an old, familiar friend, this is certainly a place for you.
Lovely crew indeed.
Tip du jour... warmed pain au raisin are fabulous but go straight for toasted pannetone...
Personal favourite - known as 'the usual, squire?' - the early morning (but why restrict yourself) bacon roll and a large latte. No finer way to start the day and these guys start early too...
Or a cracking crisp bacon, hard boiled egg, fresh tomato panini - full of authentic flavour - even with a splash of tabasco!
There's a busy cafe indoors and a station-front patio furnished with umbrellas and a partial glass shelter for those lunatics brave enough to refuel for the day al fresco, rain or shine. All seasons. Yes... in Wharfedale some of us are completely barking.
Street parking around the area offers a complimentary hour and then a quid an hour after that. And La Stazione, quite cleverly, is in the Stazione complex at Ilkley, so a prime pit stop for commuters and travellers in and out.
Also fully licenced for a cheeky beer, aperol spritz, or some other intoxicating treat, as if it were not enough, simply, to be drunk on the cheery energy of the place.

Avoid! Called in for a coffee and food while shopping in Ilkley. When I asked if any of the cakes were dairy free due to an allergy I was advised I could not be served. I advised the server that I would just have the black coffee for myself and a latte and scone for my headband. I was then advised that I could not be served with anything at all as I had an allergy and was asked to leave!
In all the years I have had an allergy to dairy I have never once been refused service anywhere!

Max and the team are spectacular. Incredible service, amazing food, and perfect coffee. All served with a smile, great conversation in a welcoming and cosy environment. Not just the best cafe in Ilkley, but probably in all of Leeds and Yorkshire.
