I've been using Boots for a couple of years now for my prescriptions, I find all the staff polite and helpful especially the pharmacy team who have done above and beyond what is required of them. All I can say for the bad reviews on here is show some respect to staff and you will get it back! I do and I don't have a problem.

Their customer service skills really are lacking and do need working on. The staff at the Ilkley branch in West Yorkshire seem to have utter contempt for the customers they are serving. The staff are rude, curt and quite frankly it is so obvious they are not happy in their jobs. Perhaps they should NOT work in retail and take up a new career as a mortuary transporter!!

Everytime I have a prescription in to be dispensed they either have no items or make an error. The old lady is very rude and disrespectful. never send prescription to this pharmacy

Shop side is OK but the pharmacy is poor. Takes about a week to prepare simple prescription and some of the pharmacy staff have little if any rapport with customers.

Terrible customer service. I went in a couple of weeks ago and was told my advantage card was out of date and of no use. Was told to apply for a new one. Today I tried to cash in a gift voucher, which I had checked to see if there was an expiry date. There was no expiry date so I assumed it was still valid. They didn't accept it!
I'll not shop there again.

Wasn?t very busy, not like the pharmacy that all the locals use at the other end of town & was packed out of the door. I needed to speak to the male pharmacist & apologised for asking for help but he was so dour,uninterested & not a greeting or smile. He offered me no help so I went to the other pharmacy where I had half an hour wait but at least had a conversation with a lovely lady pharmacist. Not really sure that 2 stars were deserved but we do find that Boots pharmacists often have their care gene extracted. Not good when we are all told to go to the pharmacist for help.

Very convenient location and well stocked Boots in Ilkley. Nice staff and particularly helpful pharmacist who offers comprehensive advice. I have all my prescriptions automatically sent to Boots Ilkley.

I was prescribed antibiotics this morning, I'm registered with Boots so expected a call to say medication was ready but none came so I tried phoning them; no reply. I called in to the branch; the prescription was sat on the side, I had to wait for it to be dispensed. Antibiotics are quite important when you have an infection & need to be started ASAP & as a pharmacy you should know that.

Popped in to seek advice from the pharmacist, as contacting a GP these days is harder than establishing contact with extraterrestrial lifeforms. Received thorough, relevant advice in an unrushed manner. Exactly what I was looking for.
