Went to the ilkley shop and bought some hot cross buns, Easter cup cake and an Eccles cake. Really disappointed. The hot cross buns were hard , cupcake dry and Eccles cake was hard ( once warmed ok ). Will not be returning. Really need to do better especially for the price !

Staff very friendlyorderd fish and chips dinner the plate was full of grease &oil i i informed staff she told me she would have had a word with chef and she said I told him to keep plates clean? Chips was frozen and bread bland not a good experience didn't seem to be botherd 3out of 10 first visit it was a xmas gift a big let down

I dropped by with my sister this morning. The service, as always, can't be faulted. Prices are steep but you're paying as much for the experience as the food, which is generally very good. I was, though, disappointed with the bacon muffin. One small rasher of bacon seems pretty stingy to me given the £8 price (although we were charged £8.95 due to an error with the till). I'll come back again for a special occasion but will be more mindful of what I order.

Very nice upmarket tea room with wide selection of items. Some savoury choices so not just cakes and pastries. Can get busy with a queue outside if waiting to eat in.

The best tea rooms in the UK. The loose leaf Betty's tea room blend is delicious. The cakes are of very good quality fondant fancies and vanilla slices are superior to anything available elsewhere. The fat rascals are so buttery. We are regulars in Ilkley. Can't beat it for a proper tea room experience. Not just for cakes - lunch items are delicious too.

Betty's is fabulous, a regular of ours as we love the atmosphere, food quality and drinks. Staff are amazing, wheelchair friendly, they bring out a ramp, slightly awkward disabled toilet but over all love it!

We had a wonderful afternoon having afternoon tea, just me and my mum. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us, the food and drink were top quality and the service was exceptional. We will definitely visit again!
