I had a great experience there today. Paul was friendly and professional. My new hair style making me feel a lot younger. I feel like a new woman and it's making me feel like a million dollars! I can't stop smiling. I will go back there again for sure. Highly recommend:)

This was my first visit to Inspiration and I would go back. I hadn?t booked an appointment on the day but the staff were very accommodating and were able to fit me straight in for a full hair cut with wash and blow dry - which I was in desperate need of after not having a cut since long before the last lockdown! After talking to the junior stylist about what I wanted he recommended that I have my cut done with the senior stylist, Paul.Paul listened to what I wanted and checked with me throughout the appointment to make sure that the style matched my expectations. He took thetime to make sure it was right and was more than happy to make adjustments. The full wash, cut and blow dry took an hour - just the right amount of time. The service was good throughout and the staff were very friendly. I was offered a coffee during my appointment. The salon was very clean and nicely laid out and had a calm atmosphere. Thanks very much Paul! I?ll be back soon XServices: Bang trim

Witnessed a confrontation between the manager and a customer who had pre-paid for her colour and cut with a groupon voucher. The manager was very threatening and intimidating - shouting and demanding money for something that had already been paid for and proved with vouchers. Clearly a scam and very poor customer service - avoid!!!!

I give you five stars ?? Had the most greatest hair colouring experience at this salon the hair stylist Beth was amazing with me from start to finish! Staff were friendly and made me feel at ease. Colour turned out even better than I expected. If you are looking for a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic quality hair then this is the place.I?ll definitely be back thanks inspirations! ?

Easily the worst experience that I've ever had when visiting a hairdressers. Beth, who did my cut and colour, was lovely and I've no complaints with regard to her skills and talent. However, the salon itself was dire and uninspiring, akin to some cheap backstreet barbers with awful lighting and no frills service. The prices, however, certainly did not reflect the quality of experience!I'd booked in for highlights and a cut, and was greeted upon arrival by a surly nail technician (with bad hair) who hadn't even mastered the art of a decent cup of tea. When I enquired how much extra it would be to have a full head of highlights, as opposed to the half head I'd booked- I was told that it would be an extra £65. If I expected toner after my treatment, it would be an additional £30. And because my hair was 3mm longer than what she discerned to be regulation shoulder length, that would be another £20 on top. If I didn't like it, they wouldn't proceed.Unfortunately for me, I'd already paid for the service- taking advantage of a so-called 'offer' on Groupon. So I was hardly in a position to leave at this point, having already shelled out around £60. I accepted that I'd pay the additional £20 (what else could I do?).I had a dry cut which took all of 5 minutes. There was no Olaplex available, and no straighteners were used after the blow dry. Given the ethos of this salon, I imagine they'd charge you another fifty quid for that little luxury.Long story short, I got to the till to pay the extra £20 (albeit begrudgingly), and was informed by said nail technician with bad hair that actually, it would be an extra £53. Because the £19.95 that I'd ALREADY paid for a "wash, cut and blow dry" wasn't accepted- they were charging me another £33 for a dry cut that took 5 minutes if that! Total cost of dry cut- £52.95. Total cost of half head highlights- £56.96.When I challenged this, feeling that they were essentially demanding money by extortion- snarky nail technician (let's call her Karen?) rang the police. So all in all, if you want to hand your hard-earned money over to people who don't do any of the actual hard work (like Beth), but instead charge over-inflated prices commensurate with a high-end salon, whilst attracting new customers with 'offers' that double in price once they've got you in the seat- then by all means, go ahead. My own personal experience, however, I hope serves as a warning to anyone considering booking an appointment. Luckily I was in a position to pay- how many others (many who are struggling at the moment) are duped by these unethical business practices?Vote with your feet and give this place a definite swerve.

I didn't actually get to experience this hair salon and here's why.. I bought a Wash, cut and blow voucher off groupon for £19.95. I then rang the salon and asked for an appointment on Monday 7th of September. The lady who answered was all set to book me in right up until I mentioned I had a groupon voucher. She then said only the manager can deal with Groupon bookings and will call me back. 3 hours later I get a call from the manager telling me they can only fit customers with a groupon voucher in on Mondays (under the terms and conditions it says the voucher is valid 7 days a week) Anyway I said that's no problem as I wanted to book on the 7th of September anyway. She then said she'd had a look and wouldn't have any stylists available for this on that date (weird as it's over 2 weeks off) I said what about the Monday before that then? Again came the same reply "No stylists available for that service that day" She then suggested this Monday at 9am. Well seen as though it's now Saturday afternoon, I'd not be able to find childcare for this Monday, so that was no good to me.. plus the hair cut was for an occasion towards the end of September. I don't want it done the day after tomorrow!! It clearly states the voucher can be used 7 days a week, I've absolutely no idea why I was treated differently to any other customer! Basically i was told I could come this monday (2 weeks prior to the date I asked for!) Or nothing! I told her I'd take it up with groupon as it's clearly false advertising and I'm not getting what I paid for and she didn't seem interested in the slightest. God only knows why they put themselves on Groupon when they clearly don't want to do it!I would never go to a business that has such little value of their customers! Joke of a place

I attempted to make a booking at this salon online through their salon Facebook page as they do not appear to have a website. Which does seem unusual for a town centre salon in a shopping centre. I had been recommended to go to a particular hairdresser called Sarah at this salon by a friend. Someone (they did not even give me a name of whom I was conversing with) messaged me back on Facebook messenger to say that Sarah was no longer working there. The sentences weren?t even cohesive in the message and did not make sense and were grammatically incorrect. Anyway, bad grammar aside. I thought I will see if I can book with another hairdresser at this salon, seeing as I didn?t know where the other hairdresser Sarah had gone. So I asked about who else could do my hair and which days they work. They said they have Paul and Grace who are both seniors. I kept it simple but explained I prefer a female senior stylist and asked when Grace would be available. They took a day or two to even respond to the first message I sent asking for an appointment with Sarah, the hairdresser I had been recommended. Then an extra day to get back to me about an alternative hairdresser, Paul or Grace. They were then very cagey and wouldn?t tell me which days Grace the other hairdresser would be available, apart from saying I could go the next day. I couldn?t go the very next day as I had to work and wanted to be able to plan an appointment in advance to fit my busy schedule. Therefore I messaged them back again to say I would have to leave it if they couldn?t offer me any other days, or let me know when their female senior hairdresser would be working. They seemed very unprofessional and disorganised at this point, but there was far worse to come. Never has it been this awkward and uncomfortable trying to book in somewhere for my hair. The person whom still had no name or given me their identity, was extremely rude and disrespectful to me over Facebook messenger. When I have never even met them. They accused me of having a fake Facebook account, just because I hadn?t put a photo on and told me I was now banned from their Facebook salon page and from booking an appointment at all. I didn?t know I was supposed to show a photo to book a hair appointment somewhere. How ridiculous! At absolutely no point had I been rude or disrespectful to them at all. They have extremely bad communication and no customer service skills whatsoever. I would definitely not visit this salon after that and wouldn?t advise any other unsuspecting person to have dealings with them either. Just look at some of their responses to another complaint on here. Argumentative and appalling. I agree with an earlier comment on another review on this page by a customer who actually went for their hair doing. The management are indeed hideous. How very rude they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
