Went in to the Huddersfield branch and was greeted by the lovely SA Lydia, who helped me out with my issue of tarnishing jewellery. She quickly cleaned it up for me and then offered me the long term solutions at home their cleaning products. She also touched up my other diamond rings! They look sparkly new!

Bought my wedding and engagement ring from these guys 3 years ago. I took them a few weeks back to get cleaned up, it cost £49.95 per ring and said it would take up to 2 weeks. They came back in just over a week looking brand new and sparkling. They tightened all the diamonds at and buffed the scratches out. I will be using this service again as I thought the price for the work was amazing. Brilliant customer service both visits for the team in store too.

I?m writing this review because I genuinely don?t want anyone else to go through the experience I had with H. Samuel.
At first, everything seemed fine during the purchase process the service was friendly and everything. But once the purchase was made, the aftercare was nonexistent.
My boyfriend bought me a small pair of gold earrings as a birthday gift two years ago. They were meaningful to me, but unfortunately, the quality didn?t match the price or sentiment. When he first received them, he realized they were too small and felt cheap, so he tried to return them immediately, only to be told he couldn?t return earrings for hygiene reasons.
Not knowing much about jewelry, he gave them to me anyway, and I wore them over the past year. Just yesterday, one of them broke while I was taking it off proving just how poor the quality is. We went back to the store, not even asking for a refund, just hoping for a solution. But the staff, including the manager, were unhelpful and dismissive.
They blamed ?customer damage,? which makes no sense. A proper pair of gold earrings should last years, if not a lifetime not fall apart in a year with occasional wear. even if it had insurance on them, but that apparently only lasts 12 months. They still wouldn?t do anything to help.
It?s incredibly disappointing that a supposedly reputable jewelry store would sell poor quality products and offer zero support after the sale. I?d strongly recommend buying gold or diamond jewelry from a local jeweler instead. where quality and service actually matter.
