NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE ... Just to put the record straight....... I did put a 5 star revue on here about Lewis Bailly the sales man .. I thought he was a nice man and I trusted him..I even gave him A tip when my wife collected her new car .. .. Sadly I have altered it to a one star .... I found out he sat and lied to my wife and me . Didnt you Lewis ? . Shame .. Dealt with Appleyards for years I have known Robin Appleyard that owns the company and Ali the sales manager at Huddersfield for years I considered them to be friends How wrong was I ?... Wont be back .. Wouldnt recommend this place or Colin Appleyards to anyone ... No apology , nothing , not a word .....

Really impressed with the whole process of buying a new car from Colin Appleyard. Staff have been brilliant - kind, helpful and wholly professional. Nothing has been too much trouble, from answering my queries to transferring a private plate onto my new car. Made the process straightforward and it?s beena pleasure to be their customer. From order to collection, everything was done in a timely and efficient way and not a pushy car salesman in sight!Many thanks to Lewis Bailly and also to Florence and Ali - I really do appreciate all of your help (and the abundance of hot chocolate).Thrilled to bits with my new car - thank you!

I have bought my last 3 new cars from Appleyards in Huddersfield & always had scheduled servicing & repairs carried out by them with absolutely no problems. Today I phoned them about a problem with my clutch, I was told there`d be a £25 collection fee (up from £10), plus a diagnostic fee. In addition I was told the car couldn`t be collected until March. Needless to say I`m disgusted & won`t be using Colin Appleyards again. Unfortunately I can`t give them a zero star rating.Thanks for your reply but I wasn`t offered any alternatives.In addition I would add that I have found an alternative repairer that offers free delivery & doesn`t charge for diagnosing the problem. In view of the fact that Appleyards have moved the goalposts regarding collection & delivery charges I shall also be looking at cancelling my service plan early. Hope you find the new charges imposed make the profits you`re hoping for but I`m sure I won`t be alone in my disgust at the treatment of a loyal customer.

Lewis Bailly at Colin Appleyard dealt with our purchase. Very impressed with Lewis, he is professional, personable, helpful and kind. Nothing is too much trouble and he goes that extra mile. My husband has said it is the best service he has ever had in the 58 years he has been owning cars. Because of that service we will definitely definitely be returning to Colin Appleyard in the future.

Failed to fix the fault with our car. Again. The ?complimentary valet?.. awful job done (I can and from now on, WILL do it myself). We are beginning to think about buying a different car.. not good enough!
