Horrific experience, couldn't even get a game there! Defendantly would not recommend, cant even speak to a member of staff without getting interrupted by them halfway through a sentence. Couldn't even buy a thing there, so that's why I would recommend going to the Halifax cex, if your close by, much larger and better staff. But I dont think I'll ever go back to this disgraceful cex. Please dont go ever...PS she deserves to get fired. Because it my 2nd horrid experience. Cex all I wanted was a game (which I couldn't get) it's being going downhill since 2022

Took a chance on CEX after my Xbox One controller broke. Couldn't be bothered waiting for an online purchase and made my first (and last) hardware purchase from CEX. Purchased a 2nd hand "value" Xbox One controller for £35, assured that it was in full working order by the colleague at the counter. Got it home and used it for around an hour, character on screen started doing whatever he wanted, completely independently of the controller.I thought, no big deal, will just explain and get a refund - went back to the store with the controller and the wire, original receipt and even the bag I took it home in, but to my surprise, the staff in store insisted on testing for the fault themselves, and surprise surprise, found no fault with it. After making me wait around for 15 minutes while they tested the fault with their mystery in-house fault finding programme, they refused a refund and instead offered me a voucher for the price of the controller. I explained that, 1. I had no interest in buying anything from the store if this is how they treat customers and 2. why would I want to buy anything if they clearly don't quality control their products. Guy on the counter didn't have an answer to either of these questions and instead just offered a weak "well try looking round you might find something you like"Definitely won't be returning to this CEX or any other for that matter.

My processor purchasing attempts at CeX were unfruitful, sadly. However, the staff and in particular Tom, was very helpful in resolving a warranty replacement. Although I eventually settled on a refund which was processed very quickly.

Hit and miss, it's either a really good, quick experience or a dragged out painful one. Want to buy something quickly? Better stand in the queue for 20 mins. Also the testers lack knowledge of most of the tech they're testing and it's clear they are just following a process.

I thought i had lost it all after falling into the wrong hands so many time. I never believed I would meet a reliable trader again. Don?t buy products from here, extremely pricey and unreliable, products don?t work and very difficult to get repairs, staff were nice have to admit, but didn?t give much help in anyway.

5 visits into the store. Still not resolved. Couldn't be bothered to go extra mile to put it right. Just a refund. What about wasted journeys? Fuel? Time?? Parking tickets?? Very unhappy customer.

no contact number only online , sold 2 mobiles to them yesterday and was told its a next day payment, 24 hours later still nothing, only took them here as needed the cash for food and bills, it's a joke of a company.
so sat here with no mobiles or food. yey my items are on there shelf up for sale.
if notings sorted asap I will be reporting the mobiles as stolen via there imei numbers
