If I could give it less then one star I would asked a member of staff she looks like the actress from don't throw mama of the train and acted just like in the film very rude and nasty when I asked her how much it was for delivery instead of saying kindly I'll be one moment she shouted at me and bit my head of like a terrier their is no need to speak to a customer in that tone of voice it was outrageous and disgusting never seen her at this store before she must have been new but still no way to speak to someone

I attempted a furniture donation here following instructions on the main BHF website. You book a collection date online and then get an email from BHF which asks you to call your most local store to arrange a collection time.The process turned out to be much harder than I thought it would be. I tried my best to donate my item here, I called 3 times, offering the reference number I had. I spoke to someone each time but no luck with them taking the reference number. The final time, the call handler said she was busy serving customers and didn't return to the call for 20 mins if at all.A week later, I was still getting emails from BHF to call the store and arrange a collection time. ?In the end, I donated to Erasmus, a homeless charity instead. They have lot of stores around West Yorkshire so I would recommend to try them first. The Erasmus team were very polite and efficient and it took one email and a phone call to sort everything. They will check the item at your property and if it is something they feel they could sell, they collect it there and then.

The prices are extortionate, I know its a charity but to say are donations, charging £250 for a 2 seater recliner sofa which isn't in new condition is ridiculous. A 2 seat sofa with pen marks and flat cushions for £170 is ridiculous. We want into kirkwood hospice in Mirfield and purchased a full 3 piece suit in excellent condition for £300. I think the BHF really need to look at their prices.

What's not to like at BHF? These shops are always so well kitted out and the service you get is lovely. I like to allow myself a good 20 minutes so I can browse properly, or else I will probably miss some delightful little knick-knack displayed in a corner. I particularly love the way the jewellery is displayed and it always feels so warm and inviting when you step inside. The furniture shop is great also - it's huge! I love the way they have the bedroom furniture separate downstairs in the basement and the orderly way they display the sofas, units and tables upstairs. Wonderful charity, wonderful shops.

Very awful experience...in the name of interview they made me wait more than 20 minutes..and stuffs behaviours are also bad and unprofessional...i would recommend people not to run after these type of organisations. They are different from inside than they show it off to people to grab sympathy.

I booked collection of some items. I checked with the shop first to see if they accepted the items and all seemed ok until the drivers turned up to collect them. ?
?No we can?t take that?, ?we can?t take that?. I?d booked in quite a few things as well and they just ended up taking a mattress and 2 black bags of clothes. I asked if they couldn?t take anymore? No we can?t ?
I just think they couldn?t be bothered to be honest. The Kirkwood drivers were much more helpful.

It was going so well! I found 3 items in the shop. The sofa was to be cleaned before delivery next day. No discount was offered and an additional delivery charge added for my area of Huddersfield. So I accepted this as its all for charity. I felt a little discriminated as a single eldery female but was pleased with my purchases. On delivery the sofa had not been cleaned as promised and the swivel chair base was filthy. They refused my old suite on minor issues. Therefore I am unhappy and will not return.

Jay and Shaun had trouble delivering my armchair in a tight ginnel. But they went above and beyond to get it to me via a different street and up a back garden. Thanks guys 10/10!!

The service in the shop was great. Unfortunately the delivery guys were not. They wouldn't move the old furniture out as I was told they would and my sons partner was left in a very full room of furniture with her new born . So really disappointed with that for a charity.

I've been in this one a few time, great shop, well stocked with some good bargain pieces, and well worth visiting regularly if you're looking for bargains.I haven't bought anything yet but probably will at some point this year.
