Cracking place. Not from the area and made to feel more then welcomed. Kitchen closed an hour earlier then advertising on the Internet, however everything was explained and not a problem!

Both enjoyed our meal. My vegan pie and gravy was delicious ? sugar snap peas ? hubby had the duck - really enjoyed it - slightly over cooked for him.
Visitors - staff were very friendly - DOG FRIENDLY ? ?

I was really looking forward to have a meal and a drink with my friend. All we wanted to do was relax and decompress. The staff seemed very nice and was apologetic for the wait at the bar. Food was tasty and filled the gap. However, everything was ruined when my friend and I were verbally assaulted by a drunk customer. We were sat only meters away from the bar and could see staff looking but nobody said anything. Things simmered down but then the customer in question stood up and shouted how she was going to knock the ?smirk? of our faces and had to be taken outside by her friend who then joined in on the heckling. This made us feel so uncomfortable to the point we moved tables when she was outside but unfortunately the damage was done. We felt unsafe and had to make a quick escape out of the back door. We understand that people can have too much to drink and get a bit rowdy but staff should have intervened when they started being verbally abusive. Such a shame, seems like a nice pub otherwise. Unfortunately won?t be returning.

My local, the staff especially are fantastic, id like to point out Kyle, Toni an Ash as my faves! We go every week n always have a great time!

I went to this pub for the first time in a long time, over 15 years. We asked for 2 cappuccino, the woman behind the bar said the coffee machine was not working, as the pod thing was not working. We agreed on 2 Cokes and asked about food. I opened the app to look at ordering food, there was a special offer on cokes, the bar staff didn't have a clue on this. I tried ordering food on the app from 11.55am and it said this menu not available at this time. I kept trying to no avail. I mentioned this to the staff, she said she would check her phone, she said its working on hers. I said it was not working on mine. I went to sit down and low and behold the app started working (miraculous). I had ordered with the staff, but the food was not great. The other person in our party ordered fish and chips. The fish was grey, which put her off eating it. We stupidly didn't complain because after all the other things that were wrong, it seemed pointless. At least we know not to go back. The whole put seemed dirty and in disrepair, and the staff disinterested in anything.

Really disappointed with our visit today. Waited an hour from ordering to our food arriving. Thankfully the kids meals came out first as they were all getting upset with being hungry.
The portions were pretty small and the actual food mediocre.
To top it off, my 8 year old found a shard of white plastic in his ice cream.
I will say the staff member who looked after our table was very apologetic about everything and did her best to make amends for the problems.
Whichever chef was working lunch on 19/7/25 has really let down the team!

Very poor service received today arrived today for my booking was ignore at the bar area one member of staff walked straight passed could have said I will be with in a minute which she said 5 mins later
Ordered food starter and main was told a item was not on because it had run out and accepted a subitute that was offered
Was told told of any delays 50 mins later I went back to bar to ask where the starter where got told the chef had misread the ticket and all the food was coming at once then informed we where out of pigs in blankets mains arrived no stuffing on Sunday dinners one plate had 5 peas on it one had a load on it the parsnip where burnt at the ends rest of food was ok the starters look like they had just been thrown on a plate
Heard so many good things about the place and have also seen other customers reviews which look good but all in all a very disappointing meal out the only person to say sorry was the guy who said sorry we are out of pigs in blankets
Will try again one day and will update
Update I have just received a phone from the pub and very happy to say that the person I spoke to has apologized to me and asked me to give the place a second chance will update when I go

Had a lovely meal with my child, Conor was welcoming and helpful. Kyle the chef working, was excellent. Food was of a excellent quality. Couldn't rate this place higher if I tried. Will definitely come again.

Had lunch here today with friends. I had the chilli chicken wrap with chips. It was nice (short of a side salad), but really nice. We all said we enjoyed our meals.
Well done to the chef Kyle, who certainly was kept on his toes with the amount of people wanting food, but he did it!! Well done Kyle.
We will certainly be back soon.

Clean, Friendly pub, conveniently placed in Lindley Village, large Beer Garden & Parking at back.
Meals are good especially the Macaroni Cheese, the best I've had anywhere, would recommend, creamy cheese sause so tasty, lovely
