I?m a loyal customer for the past 15 years.This restaurant has the best selection of dishes. I travel from Sheffield just for this delicious food!the lemon chicken is a must!The beef with pineapple is melting in your mouth and the duck is soooo flavourful!

This is the 3rd time I?ve been here and I know that I am definitely not coming back. I usually go to a different restaurant but in 2 of the occasions our regular place was shut. I wouldn?t say they are racist but definitely a bit stereotypical with white people. Each time I?ve been here I was handed straight away a spoon and a fork and I had to ask for chopsticks. I like to eat with chopsticks because i think that food tastes better when you eat it with the cutlery that was originated for. And I have respect for the culture. So that put me off a little bit. But I said nevermind, let?s continue. The food was bland , no spices, no chilli, no pepper, nothing really that you would find in Chinese cuisine. The only reason I am leaving this review is because later on after we started eating, a Chinese couple came in, they were handed different menus. Now I don?t think I would have understood their menus anyway because it was written in chinese, maybe they were the same dishes that were in the menus that were handed to us but one thing I noticed: when their food came to the table, it looked like proper proper authentic chinese food like I had in many other restaurants. So this was my last experience here.

absolutely appalling if you want to have food poisoning and be on the bog for 3 days then go to this place absolutely disgusting how they can serve you not cooked food this needs a hygiene inspection terrible place.

Great place, I come here often, chinese restaurants in Huddersfield can be either really good or really bad, 88 might look out of place from the outside, but the guy who runs it is such a friendly owner, amazing food all the time and if you attempt some small amount of mandarin, the owner can be so warm and friendly. Definitely a place to visit over other restaurants, their fried beef noodles and pork belly rice is a recommended dish. Cash only unfortunately, unless you order online.

Just this minute been to pick up my order highly dissappointed noodles have no flavour the bbq ribs are fatty and needed to go back in oven. Over priced for quality of food. My regular chinese was shut. And i get more food and flavour for less money with my regular chinese.Will not order here again it really has gone down hill since the last time i ordered . Lady in the shop was lovely which is probably the only positive i could say on this review.
I would rather go without now than be dissapointed nothing worse than paying and looking forward to some food and it being a total let down.

Nice Chinese food in Hudderfield centre. The place is not fancy but the food is yummy. I ordered 2 very simple signature Chinese dishes and I am happy with them.
Price is cheap anw and big portion.
