Always a top stay in Hebden Bridge.

Booked the deluxe room as it was the only one left available, quite expensive for a night but that seems to be the general rule in Hebden. Lovely spacious room, gorgeous claw foot tub which we didn?t get a chance to use unfortunately. I requested an iron and ironing board which were brought to the room promptly. The only disappointment was the shower pressure. The town was heaving because of football but not this place which was a relief.

This pub has been a favourite eating place for years and when my children were young. I was so disappointed with the food this week. I ordered a cheese and onion pie which was tiny so mostly pastry with chips added to boost content. This used a be a substantial tasty meal and cost wise is not worth it. Please go back to your previous menusNearby activities: Hebden Bridge is a vibrant place with wonderful markets

Quick lunch. Good all round. Must visit.

Lovely pub in Hebden Bridge. Plenty of seating and large bar. I only stopped for a drink but there is a good selection of beers and spirits. Dog friendly and the menu looked good.

Called in at lunchtime to meet friends. Nice decor. Price of beer the norm. Food very good. At lunchtime they have two menus. One for those who wanted a snack and those who wanted a full blown meal. From the main menu I and one of my friends had the 3 cheese pie. Two others had the steak pie and the final two had meals from the snack menu. We all agreed that the food was really good. The service was great and the staff really nice and friendly and friendly.

Three of us ate here this evening, and we were really disappointed. Have eaten here before several times and really enjoyed the food, but tonight the portions had been reduced, and the quality had taken a noticeable turn for the worse. The fish and chips were poor, and the three-cheese pie had little taste. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great, either, and we felt we had to chase to get attention. A real shame, as this is a great venue and I've had some lovely evenings here.

Nice place, but car parking is a problem. Even if you have booked a room you will be unlikely to get a spot at the hotel. On top of that, I found public parking was packed out too. The food and the room was good. Lots of noise from traffic and deliveries. I won't return here.

Had Sunday lunch which I found disappointing. Roast potatoes looked as though they had not seen the inside of an oven, same with the parsnips which were totally undercooked. The slow roast lamb was not as tender as others I have had and being rolled it was somewhat not very easy to eat. I do wish that the majority of restaurants would use bigger plates as a high pile of food is difficult to keep on the plate and is unfortunately not very aesthetic.

The room we stayed in was noisy and cold. The food we ordered for the evening meal came out cold and then we struggled to get the attention of the staff to give feedback at the time. Hebden Bridge is lovely though

Just back from a great weekend in the Calder Valley. The owner of the excellent Hope Gallery around the corner recommended this place for Saturday night dinner. My companion and I both had the saddle of lamb, which was superb, I?d go so far as to say Michelin quality, perfectly cooked with a lovage drizzle and parsnip purée and the gravy! A highlight of our stay. Great food and great value.

We just visited the pub for lunch and it was excellent. The food was delicious - I highly recommend the artichoke starter and the toasted emmental and ale sandwich. The kids enjoyed their meals, and the dog even got fed as there is a doggie menu. The waitress was lovely and made us feel very welcome.Food & drinks: Dog friendly
