Post Offices in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire

“Was in the area with work colleagues carrying out local works today, where it has been absolutely scorching hot! Was lunch time and we wanted to find somewhere nice where we could sit and have some dinner. We turned up, there’s a small car park opposite, luckily there was a space for me. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and a can of apple cawstons, was absolutely lovely fresh local think they make their own bread or get it from a bakery locally. Was nice and cool and even had water available on a shelf should you want some, perfect in this weather taking care of people. They also accept card which was a bonus! Thanks will definitely come again!”

“So glad this PO still is there. I was a rep for a tobacco company back in the mid 1980’s and the couple who ran it were lovely and always offered a brew! I can’t for the life of me remember their names but the male had a beard and the lady was a red headed lady from memory nearly 40 years ago! Great news that the Heptonstall PO is still open and as friendly as ever.”

“Lovely, friendly local Post Office! An assett to. the community. Tony is "open all hours" and bends over backwards to advise on postage issues or take a few minutes to speak with every customer. Gets busy at times but I will make a point of waiting in the queue to support the business rather than go elsewhere.”
