Diabolical parking system. Discrimination against disabled customers. My MiL is a wheelchair user and there are insufficient bays in this carpark my FiL has to drop her off in car park outside m and s as there were no spaces. He then paid for an hours parking even though he had not parked and left. Landed with a £100 parking charge by the scam company that operates from this location despite paying the ludicrously high charge for parking even though there was no space. This car Park used to allow 20 mins free. Total rip off.Customer services on site apologetic about their scam company but done nothing to help.

Parking is literally fraud. I stayed 1:20 and got charge for 3 hours parking. They are defrauding customers with parking.

This is about car parking. The recent change, to 'Your Parking Space' works well, only if you park & pay. Don't bother pre-paying (booking) as the Woolshops staff are unable/unwilling to 'validate tour YPS booking' in order to allow you to exit. It seems that the Woolshops Customer Service staff (I saw 2 different ones) are refusing to help their customers by not engaging with the new system. Also, because there are now no physical barriers, no count is apparently made of numbers of available spaces, so you have no idea if you will find a space, even if you have pre-booked, as I did.I ended up paying again, in order to have hassle-free exit, the alternative being, as told to me by one of the Woolshops staff, "Just drive out and risk getting a parking summons".

The parking is a scam! I went in and after seeing the new pay by app arrangements decided not to stay but was charged £2 without even parking.

Woolshops Shopping Centre is a nice yet fairly basic shopping centre, for a small town, it is pretty much typical of what one would expect in terms of size and retailers. It is a predominantly outside mall, with affordable parking and plenty of spaces. Retailers here include Boots (including Opticians), CeX, EE, JD Sports, Marks and Spencer, O2, Superdrug, WHSmith (including a Post Office). For food and drink, there is a Costa, Greggs and a Cafe inside Marks and Spencer. I did like the buildings the shops were located in, it has a rather nice feel to it, on a warm, sunny day this could be a nice place to visit for a little while, however, if the weather isn't so good, I'd give this place a miss. In terms of shopping nearby, Leeds is by far a better option but Woolshops certainly isn't too bad. 3*

Shops seem to be closing down regularly, but halifax isn't a massive shopping destination anyways so what do you expect. Not too bad, has some basics.

It's a great place to park but I think there should be a paying machine on the other entrance/exit of the carpark (next to peice hall) so then people don't have to walk all the way around just to get to their cars.

If you want to put some plants in your garden then get down to Poundland. Various bulbs, rose bushes plus lots of other plants. I won't tell you the price!! But fantastic value. ?

There is nothing more sad than a Town center Stores all closed and devoid of shoppers. They are the 'lifeblood' of a town..they are the spirit of a town The Center is a meeting place for Adults and kids alike..all eager to spend...eat and meet, relax, compare purchases and yes occasionally argue...but Today..like many others, our center is closed, and those people who are around are mostly on their way home, with ' necessary purchases'... Our center is crying out for normalcy to return...
