This is my 1st time I've been to Percy Shaw since it has been taken over and unfortunately it has massively gone down hill. It took an hour to bring our food out even though the place wasn't busy. My steak was well done but I asked for medium, my chips were raw in the middle, I paid extra for 3 onion rings, tomato and a large mushroom but only received 2 onion rings and the tiniest burnt mushroom. The only resolution they offered me was if I return in the future they will knock 20% off my bill (food only). It's safe to say that I will not be returning. I think I wasted enough money! Very disappointed!

Met in here for ore drinks before my works Xmas party was really good atmosphere and busy but still quick service. Great place to be and nice inside also

Has a feel good factor to it. Called in for breakfast after nhs appointment. Table was dirty. Had that cleaned. Ordering from the menu was easy but the breakfast, Oh dear. Toast was warm bread. Eggs and sausage were nowhere near cooked. Could probably have made one decent slice of bacon out of the four. On the up side, the choice of flavoured lattès was a bonus. Got a refund and left.

Shocking breakfast had to send it back .
Burnt bacon slimy egg and ashbrowns were cooked hours before I think . Will not be putting myself through that again

Unfortunately over an hour's wait for food totally unacceptable... otherwise a lovely place to sit and chill out and nice view if you can get near the window.

Came here today for some lunch while our baby was sleeping. We picked up a menu from the front and went to sit down, spent 10 minutes or so looking at the menu and went to order. When my husband got to the front of the queue he was told that they were so busy that they weren?t taking any food orders. While we were sat looking at the menu, several members of staff walked past us, and not one of them bothered to tell us before we wasted our time, that they weren?t taking orders. And It wasn?t even busy, we got a table no problem and passed several empty tables as we walked in. Load of rubbish

One of the cleanest looking Wetherspoons I've been in!
Bar mam who served us was really friendly and quick.
Didn't have food so can't comment but what we saw being bought out looked good.

absolutely terrible, waited an hour 20mins (was told 30mins) for 2 light snacks/meals, when the food finally arrived it was just luke warm, loads of customers had walked out and got refund!
