“Great prices, products both fresh and frozen. Plenty of parking, including disabled. Disabled access to the store from disabled car parking. There is a rewards system that is accessed through a downloadable app called Lidl Plus. Definitely recommend this supermarket.”

“I'm currently doing fat fighters, also known as Slimming World and their free food meals are on offer so work out quite reasonable (3 for a tenner on the Chicken Rogan Josh which with rice easily feeds 2 people). Their Gregg's line is also great for my lad as he loves a sausage roll or steak bake and you can't go wrong with a nice pasty.”

“Went for the bra fitting service. The lady who looked after me, Linda, at the store in Halifax, Woolshops was marvellous. She put me at ease, and nothing was too much trouble. Linda provided a great customer experience, well done. I will be back.”

“Herons is a great little store. Stocks some foods on a regular basis but there are always some surprises. Unusual items that you wouldn't see elsewhere. The prices are very competitive and the staff at the Halifax branch are very friendly. The manager is very helpful indeed.”

“Yes they've changed the whole and put a lot more freezer's in it's a bit hard to get to the top shelves if your small 5ft, same friendly staff few new faces. Prices have risen just lately but that goes for ever where but still good value for money.”

“Lidl is always a good place to shop. The Halifax Rd store has had a change around with the bakery being in the new extension part of the store at the back. The only downside, it's just too busy! You normally have to queue at checkouts. Car park isn't big enough at peak times.”

“1 of the cheaper petrol station in Halifax at the moment. As well as petrol pump stations there is parking bays available. There is also a free to use cash machine. Inside u can get a basic shop from the Tesco supermarket just don't expect any Tesco value range, which is a shame given the current cost of living crisis. Always seems to be a Que when in there.”

“Greetland Co op is on a busy crossraods but with ample parking and aided by traffic lights easy to park. Ellie greeted me with a warm smile and asked if I needed a basket and was very informative about the products I asked about.The store has a large fruit and vegetable section with some very good promotional deals. A wide range of resh products, especially like the pizza and ready meals available. With chilled beers and wines from all over the World, my favouries being the local ales.It was goodto see the store supporting the community with money being raised through the memberhip propersition. The local causes benifiting are Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, White Rose Rythmics Gymnastics Club and Rastrick St' John's Scout Club.The store also has Paypoint, Hermes and Lottery and the Health Lottery.”

“Excellent customer service and a fantastic very airy shop with some hidden gems freshly baked bread and donuts baked in the shop wow.Great meal deals and offers galore all around the store.Well stocked and a great choice of products especially like all the different Indian cuisine that’s available.Very friendly staff and the new manager is like a breath of fresh air so welcoming and chatty.Overall a fantastic local shop.”
