GP practice sent a message. All of todays' appointments have been booked lol. Send message again tomorrow and get same reply. Pathetic Service. Keep spending on stupid wars and leave nothing for your own people.

I had a face to face consultation with Dr Mariam and the experience was very positive. She was really friendly and made sure I got the correct help!

Spring Hall Group Practice. Is this a medical practice, privately owned, contracted to provide GP services on behalf of the NHS? And do they receive a sum of money per patient every year? And are they obliged to provide such services as face-to-face appointments with an appropriate health professional? Even a doctor? And did the CCG instruct all surgeries to use Patchs, the online communication tool? The very name makes me want to vomit.Appointments are made for the same day only and when they?re gone, they are gone, try again tomorrow. It doesn?t matter which method you try to use. This is not the GP service that the nhs pays Spring Hall to provide. The support staff are good but the underlying structure seems to disregard those who need medical help quickly.

This system is a nightmare!I called today at 08.00 thinking I would get through, and it said I'm 32 in the waiting queue.I called yesterday at 08.00 and the line said 'our lines are very busy, please try again later'I put a request on patches at 8.20 hoping I would get an appointment and I got a reply back at 16.00 say all the appointments have been booked for today. How do we get an appointment I don't understand!

Not the doctors it use to be . Can not get thru on phones. Tell you to go online and that system hit and miss . Entries on your medical records that shouldn't be there .

No one in the surgery cares about the patients and they talk to you as if you are a piece of rubbish. Welcome to third world Britain

Shocking service! Very slow and incompetent staff- NHS England and CQC needs to shut this surgery down, they have no idea whether they coming or going. The merger with other surgeries is due cost and not for access and convenience to patients! Bloody ?

I find it's impossible to get an appointment, even by telephone. Patchs is rarely available, calling the surgery is difficult as always a high number waiting. Plus they don't give any updates on what number you are. My test result was never given to me, yet when I finally was able to get online, it stated 'patient informed' when I was not! When eventually attending my appointment for a second blood test, was not told to fast, so this was denied, yet couldn't offer another appointment.I was thinking of changing my doctor, but nurse told me that soon there will be just one practice to serve the whole of my area. This is unacceptable, especially as its already over crowded and under managed . They cant even contact each surgery by phone! I had to wait for Siddal to email Spring hall , then wait for a response! No wonder people are ill!

Unbelievably shocking, called because I've had COVID which isn't shifting and was told they don't deal with COVID anymore (apparently this was a global pandemic but now they don't want to hear about it). After requesting help because I've had asthma in the past they said I need to call back tomorrow to request an appointment. Asked about a sick note and said they don't give it over the phone and to request it through their online system, I tried this and it doesn't work and "spring hall services is currently unavailable for health problems on patch".Advised the person on the phone about this and was told they're not aware of any issues (even though I just made her aware of the issue). Went to get advice and came back and told me no sick note is available other than through the online system which isn't working, can't deal with anything COVID related and if I want an appointment I need to call back tomorrow...... I never leave reviews but on this occasion I had to. If you're reading this and had a bad experience at spring hall/Queens road please leave a review because it seems we're being fobbed off when we genuinely need help.

The receptionist Trisha was helpful...I had phoned a few times always 37,22 in queue. When I got through she apologised for my waiting time..dnt always get that...she listened to me and sounded intrested..she then made me app asap. Great front line service..The male gp that rang me back was great, listened, was supportive and showed empathy..whilst on the call..The Gp then arranged for a follow up with a nurse called Adam.Who again gave positive advice , supportive and empathy too...Thankyou .

Getting routine prescription requests sorted should NOT be this difficult. Shambolic service.EDIT: Having complained in person and by letter to no avail, I have decided to take this matter to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. I urge anyone going through issues to do the same. Lets get this terrible service sorted once and for all.

Intentional or not, Spring Hall Group Practice comes across as completely disinterested in their patients' wellness and welfare. Too much energy appears directed towards "innovations" that prevent direct contact between clients and healthcare professionals. The parlous state that primary healthcare in Calderdale has been allowed to drift into will ultimately lead to public health challenges that are costly to fix, and to a lack of productivity and enterprise in the borough as some level of chronic sickness becomes the norm among many, many more members of the local population. The strain consequently placed on acute care is certain to lead to a decline there too.

Horrible service since merger. Good Doctors and poor reception staff. Asked for a complaint form and he recommended changing the practice!Update 01/09/23Some of the reception staff are still letting this practice down. Complaints procedure not easy or straightforward. The belligerent staff require you do it online and raise their voices! How many could and keep cool? Well I kept my cool and will take this Complaint to the next level.

A doctor's surgery that doesn't help it's patients... It's impossible to call the reception to make an appointment. You're unable to do make an appointment online as they never have appointments available. Doesn't matter if it's 8:01am or 4:59pm. Never! They also disable the messaging system so you can't even message them asking for medical advice. It's a complete shambles. They need reprimanding by NHS bosses.
