Who would of thought you vould undercut Greggs. Great value. The staff are quite special here- salt of the earth, no nonsense with an entertaining undercurrent of menace.

The best little bakery in town with the biggest and cheesiest pasties on Planet Earth ? Excellent prices and wonderful staff ? what more could you want when it's cold and you're peckish? Even a proper Yorkshire brew ! None of this nonsense with 1000 choices of tea and coffee ?? sensible prices and even 10% off on Wednesdays for the pensioners. What more could anyone want ? ?? And ........ guess who I think makes the very best Vegan sausage rolls ever ? Pound Bakery of course! Forget the rip off brands like Walls and others which I wouldn't have fed to my dog ( I think more of her than that ) just spend what you've got on quality and pay a fair price ? ? ?

Went in this morning lady that served me thought i dont know english my bill came to £8 gave the lady £20 she gave me £7.50 change i then asked her for 2x hash brown which costs 50p i gave her £2 she then gave me 50p change then i spoke up she goes it was a mistake.. Im sorry but twice you cant get money wrong at the til if i hadnt spoken i would have been scammed. Very unprofessional.. There was 2 other ladies near her they where looking at eachother. Staff tried to overcharge me. Not very welcoming. Poor customer service.

Lovely little bakery in the heart of Halifax town centre.
I would recommend the cheese and onion pasty. You can get a good deal on them at 2 for £2.50.
The staff are friendly.
The space is a bit cramped for a pram but otherwise there?s enough space inside and usually a bit of a queue but nothing too long.

A lovely set of ladies that run this shop! I come in on Thursdays and it?s a delight every time. You should give these ladies a pat on the back , excellent service , excellent food , excellent staff.

It is quite a small shop so it?s difficult to see what is in the hot counter until you?re right at the front of the queue. Under pressure I couldn?t see my favourite so instead I got a chilli beef slice along with a sausage, cheese & beans for hubby and t couple of sausage rolls for our son. Not had the chilli beef before but I?ll certainly get it again as it rivals my actual chilli, everything was also lovely too so I?m happy to recommend the items we got:)

First ever visit to them.. staffs are on absolute rude attitude. Two counters and two staffs were there to serve until customer before me. Upon our turn one of them were very actively reading through some papers by not even looking on us waiting in queue. Other person asked after a while " can I help" I have let her my order, asked me to pay , did it . She kept the sausage roles in a paper cover and left it near to billing desk. I have asked her please could you warm it ,if its not. She gave me a look , as if I have done something wrong.She didn't reply me nor take the item to warm, when I inquired again," is that warm already", she opened her mouth"yes ". Now knew the reason of her "look" earlier.Collected the item and ran away with my children. Won't recommend to anyone unless someone wanted to experience their" hospitality"

I have to be honest. Good sausage rolls. But there has been a severe dispute between them and Greggs. The civil war has gone too far. We need the Jarl Balgruuf in order to win for the imperium. Unfortunately the dragon problem needs to be taken care of, but by who?
