Had our engagement party here last night, Thankyou to Jackie and dj jj, they were brilliant, Jackie smashed it behind the bar by herself with over 50 people at the party and dj jj was so good with the kids (think my two want to be djs now) both so easy going and friendly and helped make our night special.

Decent enough digs but no way a hotel,bar opens late and shuts early but staff are brilliant.
Rooms basic and shabby but enough to get your head down.
No food on site but really close to all the places in town so no really big worry.
I'd maybe try somewhere else next time but it was ok ??

Stayed here as came to see the streets at the piece theatre which is 5 min walk away, great service from staff and good pint of Guinness, rooms could do with a bit of tlc.

Fab location for a reasonable cost. The staff were very friendly too. Couldn't ask for more.

Lovely friendly welcome from Jackie and we were let in the room early, but there were white stains on the black bedsheets, a smell of sewage from the bathroom and the door surround was showing signs of being broken in and not repaired.
The sheets were changed straight away after I brought it to their attention.
The top drawer of the chest of drawers had no bottom in it and the TV screen had ingrained dirt on it from lack of cleaning.
Bar was closed when we returned at 10.40.
Handy parking right outside.
We cancelled our later booking after staying here and are now at the Premiere Inn which was £30 cheaper and excellent.
It's a shame when we try to support independents, but the owners show a lack of care for the fabric of the building.

I had my daughter?s first birthday party there yesterday, and would highly reccomend it as a venue if you need a nice spacious room with easy access and cute features such as rainbow lights, bubble machine etc.
the managers couldn?t of been more friendly and accommodating and were lovely to deal with!
They had a wide range of different drinks available, bar service was fast and friendly too!
Very nice relaxed atmosphere, will 100% be booking it again! X
