Really miss The Huddersfield branch so 2 visits a week now! But do like food choice and parking is great but can be busy ( go early) sale very disappointing this time .

Absolutely appalling service from Steve on checkouts today (08/08/2025) Am. I was waiting in a queue and as Steve approached the till I walked over and straight away was met with an abrupt attitude. I explained that I may have been in the wrong queue but the lady who was in the correct queue acknowledged that I had been waiting prior to her, therefore had no objections with m3 being served before her. YET STILL STEVE who had a bee in his bonnet gave me a disgusting service. I,along with my family have been shopping at m&s for over 20 years and never experienced this before. Steve really does need soem re-training especially on the customer service front.aftwr speaking with some other colleagues they all had the same to say regarding his poor attitude. Marks and spencers you really need to start looking closely to the staff you have employed who are customer facing, a reputation takes years to build and minutes to crumble. I will not let this irregular occurrence deter me from shopping there again but I will not allow Steve to serve me ever again. !!!!!

Dreadful today. Took us longer to get through the checkout than it did to do our shopping. Reason. Discount voucher received yesterday said it had already been used. It had'nt. Dealt with well by checkout staff but thats 10 minutes of my life i'm not going to get back. Review update 31-07-2025. No problems today. Just as it should be. Great store, great produce and helpful, friendly and polite staff.

called in today with family. After the cyber attack, the system seems to be up and running so got a free coffee. Staff cheerful and helpful.

Very nice branch of M&S, we like the ready meals and meal deals. Recently got a nice pizza meal deal. Also we like the loaves of frozen garlic breads. The bakery savouries are another one of our favourites. Not as expensive as people think when shopping in M&S. Friendly and helpful staff. Plus you can park literally outside the store entrance, which leads on to the carpark.

It's M&S so it's pretty decent what more is there to say...
They could stock more bigger sizes in the clothing as when I walk around there pretty much most of the customers are middle aged and well you know we all get a bit of middle aged spread, yet they'll be only two items in the larger sizes that sell out quickly and 30 smaller ones languishing on the rails until they go into the sales. Know your customers M&S.
Anyway, my picture is of 'Iggy Pop' (honestly)who was sat on the benches outside. ???? Maybe he's got a 'Lust for'... the M&S food hall.

This is a great store in the centre of Halifax in the Wool shops area near The Piece Hall. Great store with a cafe and food hall. Staff are very fryand happy to help. Food is great quality. Parking nearby. I would highly recommend.

Went shopping today, and a employee stood in doorway informing us that cannot do contactless payments, didnt think to ask, heard on news had a Cyber Attack, hope gets sorted, don't expect a reply, the hierarchy not interested

Had a bra fitting today with Lisa who was fantastic. She was very friendly and super helpful. She listened to what I was looking for from a bra and was extremely patient in helping me find exactly the right fit, sharing her knowledge along the way. An absolute credit to M&S and women - getting the right bra is life-changing. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much

I am blind so was feeling a tad nervous about this.
I needn't have worried.
Lisa was outstanding.
She was understanding, listened to my needs and spot on with everything. An absolute star and a credit to Marks and Spencers customer service. Thank you Lisa. You made my day!
