Avoid. it seems many of these good reviews are paid for and fake. google it, it's easy for a company to buy positive reviews to get a good rating and cancel out the bad.Elite were needlessly bad, and I don't know what they were playing at. There was no payment until the house sale was done but they just delayed and delayed things for no reason. It was so frustrating. I changed my solicitor after 6 months and with only 2 weeks to go, to save my house sale. They did not return calls for 2 weeks. They did not respond to emails. They hung up on me via webchat. I had no faith in Elite getting my sale across the line and would not have felt comfortable with them handling my money. Pay a proper solicitor and avoid adding more stress to an already stressful situation.

Avoid at all costs! After 10 weeks since my offer was accepted, I have made the reluctant decision to move my conveyancing and start from scratch with a new solicitor. Where do I start? Limited phone service, poor or non existent email responses and no relationship built whatsoever. Following 2 complaints from my buyers solicitor about the quality of replies to queries, I lost all faith that my sale would ever exchange let alone complete. The ONLY email that was ever responded to swiftly was the one where I asked about withdrawing from their services - they answered that one the same day and said they would be happy for me to walk away. I was polite and courteous the whole time, even when complaining, but there was just no concept of service or accountability. The worst service I have ever experienced from a so called professional body.

This firm have delayed a conveyancing deal through lack of preparation. We are still yet to hear back with a date to continue on completation after they were the sole reason the last agreed date was cancelled. The seller (whos solicitors these are) and I are angry and need answers. Elite UK have been unhelpful, vague and evasive in their responsibilities to this deal and it needs resolving.
