We went to cex to sell my ipad pro 2021 which I purchased from cex for 450, only had the ipad 1 month ,we got told to wait 1 hour to check everything, we went back after and said my ipad was bent and they wouldn't buy it back, which they should have checked before we got told to wait 1 hour, the staff was rude, wasn't helpful at all, we said to them they need to train their staff better, the manager called called Chris says "yeah we know", the lady was also very rude to my partner by telling him to move when nobody else was in the shop, maybe before you tell people to wait over a hour check if the product is bent before wasting peoples time, they also said they check most of there products to see if there bent but they should check all the products because we wondered if they sold us it like that, I won't be using your shop anymore , very rude staff and poor customer service, go somewhere else to sell your things people!!!

Not a great experience. Took back two Sega Megadrive games that I'd bought from CEX online. The staff were quite rude and abruptly informed me that they needed to send an email to the stores which had sent the items because "you might have swapped them".
They said it would be an hour, but when I returned after an hour, I was told that it would take however long it took for the store to email them back.
I had to leave as I was just visiting the area with family, and was assured by the staff that they would send an e-voucher that day. This did not arrive and later the following day I had to send multiple messages using their awful online system to try to get my refund.
In the end, leaving a negative Trustpilot review did the trick though, but it really shouldn't have to go that far.
