Ordered a medium coffee and chocolate late cake and they served me a horrible small coffee the place wants blowing up and it was full of flys so it wasn't clean if you want a good coffee guys go to Costa and staff are more friendly and helpful

Ordered a pistachio cake and a cappuccino. The creamy texture of the cappuccino added to the richness of the coffee. Liked it overall!

Could do with a re fit but at the very least a deep clean. Windows dirty especially in upstairs seating area. Seating showing wear and tear and ready to be restored or replaced. Paintwork worn and marked.
The stairs upto the upstairs seating area was caked in filth.

Nice place and staff seem friendly enough but my goodness the noise they make smashing and crashing behind the dishwasher area is insane. Don?t know if it?s on purpose for laughs as it?s completely over the top, ruins the atmosphere of an otherwise really nice coffee shop for customers.

Not a lot to say about this cafe other than top notch in every way. Fabulous, helpful staff, excellent food and drinks regardless of the time of day you can snack or have a couple of courses. The staff regardless of shift are delightful and go out of their way to help.
I'm not a very regular customer as there are other local eateries I also enjoy but the cafe culture is definitely alive and kicking in town with this very hot weather we've had, daresay if we get a typical Halifax winter it'll stop in an instant & we'll all be indoors moaning about the grey winter stuff ? for now though just love this cafe & I've met some delightful people even Australians visiting family here .
Take note Calderdale Council!!! Our Victorian buildings get gasps of amazement from all the visitors I've spoken to this summer, Piece Hall etc etc. You need to plan your roadworks much more carefully in future as you've single handedly ruined the traffic flow in this town.
I get why you want to encourage visitors but a at the Piece Hall ?? What about the businesses at the top of the town who are suffering? The Borough Market is having a full refurbishment & will look amazing but you seem to be forgetting the people who work here, live here and pay council tax 52 weeks a year & it's NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!

Was at the Halifax shop ? great staff friendly..
visited with my dog was made very welcome and provided bowl of water for my pooch ..
highly recommend dog friendly?
