Absolutely disgusting food terrible. Service no one was bothered. Before you sat down you were told what time you had to be out. £65 Christmas day and it was a carvery.

Had Christmas dinner table 2 not a good experience. Table was wobbley plates wouldn't sit flat. Big rip in the seat. Wall paper coming away from wall. The meal wasn't great hard sprouts. Prawn cocktail was dry with little sause. Pudding. Hot apple crumble with custard lukewarm sent custard back came back same. We booked here because we came here last year totally different experience prosecco on arrival showed to seats nice meal everything hot like it should be. Will not be booking next year.

Very nice place. Had the carvery while there well priced could do with extra slices of the meat.. Unlimited veg no good without the meat.. Friendly young lady behind bar looked nice & clean.

Drab and dreary, in need of a spruce inside and out. The place feels like they stopped caring.
They are right next to the canal and could really use that!
Could be a great pub, friendly staff though!

We come often and every time we are served by a lovely gentlemen, he?s the back bone of this place always busy on different sections and doing anything to keep the place running, always friendly and attentive he could not do more for us, he remembers when we come and even offers discounts as loyal customers, he?s an asset to the company. The breakfast it?s self is average but would always come back as we know we will have a smooth experience.

Homophobic Manager and male Waiter at 7pm on 29.11.24 refused to give me a complaint form, when we asked kindly. As 2 men with 2 children we were confronted negatively by the the Waiter with bald very little hair and big belly, he told my Husband 'don't you you talk to young female bar staff like that, when all he did was mention missing chips and bacon on a burger. Both will be be fired by Monday when my email go to Chief Ex

Come here quite often for breakfast the menu is quite extensive and caters for all even those with allergies. The buffet style breakfast is great as really get your moneys worth. The staff are polite,friendly and attentive to customers needs.

After an early appointment at Caldedale Royal, my partner and I decided to try The Watermill for breakfast £10.99 for an unlimited hot breakfast sounded just the ticket! How wrong we were!!
Firstly we were met by the overwhelming smell of bleach as we entered the establishment.
The "Unlimited hot breakfast" equated to 1 small rasher of bacon, 1 small sausage, overcooked scrambled eggs, boiled metallic tasting mushrooms, half a half grilled tomato, a hash brown, beans and a piece of inedible black pudding!
The cold section was passable with a decent choice, however the coffee was weak and insipid all in all not a pleasurable experience at all, we were both left very disappointed!
Then to cap it off, when we went to pay, the card payment machine was not working, fortunately, I had enough cash on me to pay otherwise I would have had to go in search of a cash machine!
An experience we will not be repeating again anytime soon!
Come on Brewers Fayre, is this really the best you can offer!!
