Very disappointed with the service at this store.
Katie, the manager, was extremely unprofessional and rude. My little boy and I arrived 18 minutes before closing time, only to find the doors already shut. Katie and her colleague were clearly visible through the windows, laughing and joking, but made no effort to acknowledge us or explain why the store was closed early.
I returned the next day to collect a prepaid online order and asked Katie why the store had closed early. She claimed it was due to a ?system error? but couldn?t explain why we were left standing outside, being ignored, with no sign or communication. No apology was offered, and the whole experience felt dismissive and disrespectful.
Really poor service and a complete waste of our time.

Bought a set of darts and dart board for our kids, very poor quality and the darts even had sharp bits that scratched the kids. Tried to return for an exchange the next day and was told as it had been opened I could not (how you tell if your item is faulty before opening I don?t I know).
Even though the item was faulty and not able to be used spoke to customer service and they say it?s up to the store manager?s discretion and he basically said it?s up to him and he isn?t going to do anything.
Don?t use Guisley Argos as they point blank refuse to refund or exchanges items to make their store figures look better to head office.
Will not be using aegis again will stick with amazon in the future.

I am absolutely disgusted by the delivery service of this company. My elderly grandmother at 86 needed a new washing machine. I took her down to the store over 2 weeks ago to choose one and order it for delivery, she also opted for the extra £50 installation and recycling of the old one, in total costing £300. Cut to the date of delivery (which I took an unpaid day off for) I get a phone call telling me the delivery can't be made due to parking restrictions. The driver said the options where to unload the washing machine and refund the £50 installation or re schedule the delivery with a smaller van. I chose to re schedule and was informed customer service would be in touch with a date. 2 DAYS later I had heard nothing, no email, no text, no call, nothing. I then rang customer service myself and re scheduled the delivery to the following week. Now we get to what was suppose to be the second delivery date, 2 WEEKS after first placing the order and it never turns up. I get the text the night before telling me the driver will be in touch 1 hour before delivery but never get anything else. I get no call, no email, no text telling me why the delivery has not taken place. Argos never contacted me to tell me the delivery couldn't be made. So now my 86 year old grandmother has been washing her cloths in the sink for the last 2 weeks with £300 no where to be seen and I have lost £200 from the unpaid days off I have taken to recive the delivery. What if I wasn't there to help my grandmother, she would have no way of knowing what is happening with her delivery, when it's coming or if a refund is being issued. Even after requesting a refund I still have no email confirmation of it. DO NOT GET DELIVERY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Abysmal customer service. I encountered significant difficulty with a simple return, a process that was easily handled by another Argos nearby. The manager, 'Kate', and trainee assistant, 'Ben' or 'Chris' demonstrated a lack of professionalism and competence that would likely disqualify them from even entry-level positions at most fast-food establishments. Their customer service skills are severely lacking. It's no surprise that consumers are increasingly turning to Amazon, where they can expect a far superior shopping and returns experience. This Guiseley store exemplifies the worst aspects of retail ? simply moving boxes with no regard for customer satisfaction. I will never shop at Argos again.

still disgusted at argos .we bought two sofas not long ago and we tried to return them and argos said we couldn't as they were used we had to sit on them to try them .argos had a sign up in there shop if your not happy with goods return them in 30 days even if you just change your mind which we did argos did not honour what they said in writing .they tried to put me on to there homeserve team no joy there .only had goods 2 and half months still under guarantee .argos still won't refund my £460.00 pounds .they haven't even offered any solution just kept the money disgusting way to treat customers .
