Lovely friendly, helpful staff, gave a very fair price for some rings which l had outgrown & l bought a gorgeous ring which fit perfectly, l would definately recommend

Absolutely fantastic customer service, so friendly and helpful. Cant thank them enough for sorting my sons watch- not often a teenager is complimentary about staff in a shop but he thought they were lovely.

Tried to repair my pocket watch. Did what they could buy manufacturer couldn't get the part so fair enough, they returned my watch in the same condition. Not their fault. Bought an alternative second hand watch which broke which was also not their fault and got a full refund so overall good service. Many things out of their control which they dealt with well

Not normally one to make reviews, but I cannot express how disappointed I am with the store and would NEVER consider revisiting.I left my wedding ring in the store to be cleaned and polish to only loose a diamond within 24 hours. On reporting this to the shop, I was told a couldn't have a replacement diamond and will have to learn to live with the gap. Not happy, I called the manufacturer who confirmed that was untrue. If a diamond was there to start with, a diamond can be there again. I reported this back to the shop and asked for Mr Wood to call me. I received a phone call back (after chasing) on the 7th July in the morning (check your phone records) to apologise and confirm they would pay for a diamond.On the morning of travelling to Newcastle to drop my ring at the manufacturers, I found the diamond on my bathroom floor. 6 weeks later and a 2nd trip to Newcastle, I have my ring back and it's perfect. Following on from my call, I went back into the shop with my receipt for the cost and also asked if the original £25 to pay for my rings to be cleaned could be refunded as a gesture for the 2 trips to Newcastle. 2 weeks after and 3 calls into the shop later, Mr Wood decided to call me back and deny any conversation with me. I suspect there is 2 Mr Woods. Reluctantly he agreed to refund all costs via a bank transfer. The next day, I checked and ask myself, did I get the full money I asked for......nope, just the £25.I've never been so disappointed. You want to support the local high street shops, but not after this. I wouldn't want anyone to experience the service I "didn't" receive.
