We often visit the pub as a family and can't fault the customer service from Craig Tate, he always goes the extra mile and remembers what the kids do and don't like with their food. The food always goes down well and there's always a good deal ??

Christmas dinner was lovely would definitely come again just wasn't happy with all the moving of the tables back to normal while we were still eating wasn't very professional should have been done when people had finished eating

Went today Christmas day(pre booked in October)food was absolutely spot on very warm food tasty soup excellent main lot of meat and all the trimmings and a heavenly dessert
Pub was open as well so made it feel more welcoming

Being gluten free means it can be difficult finding places to eat when you're away from home. Did a quick search online and found this pub 5 mins away (by car) from our hotel. I ordered a Bacon cheeseburger (don't often eat burgers but I thought, why not?) but it came out without the bacon ? also had baked potato which was supposed to come with coleslaw but that was missing too so had to ask for butter so I wasn't just eating dry potato. I hope whoever got my bacon and coleslaw enjoyed them!
We ordered a glass of coke, no ice (came with a lot of ice) and a gin and tonic, no ice, no slice (ended up with pink gin ? and lemonade with lots of ice)
So we looked for the angriest looking bar worker to order our next drinks with and result! Got what we ordered!
We had desserts, which the lovely tall redheaded lady who works there was kind enough to bring me the ingredients on the actual products to check if I could eat them, she was the best thing about our experience here!
I had the gf cheesecake, which I had to ask for the ice-cream that is supposed to come with it and my OH had some large thing that was missing cookie pieces ????
The meal itself (apart from missing components) was actually really good.
I didn't like the "Unisex" toilet in the dining area, I feel that it would have been better used as disabled/changing area. The toilet seat doesn't fit right and I had to wipe the porcelain before using the loo ? also, water pressure seems to be an issue as the tap was ineffectual.
All in all, not a brilliant experience but with a few tweaks, this place could be really good!
On a final note, I didn't get her name but the lady with red hair who was working on 14/12/24 and had the awkward customer with the gluten/coconut issues, Thank you so much, if it wasn't for you, I'd have ended up with no dinner that night and you are the reason for 4 stars, it would have been 3 if it wasn't for you xx
Dietary restrictions: Has a whole gluten free menu upon request. Don't be afraid to ask for any other dietary restrictions! The staff we talked to were more than happy to help
Parking: There are disabled parking spaces

Dave the vaper is still releasing fumes stood at the bar like he couldn?t give a ****. Time to scrap this place as they didn?t listen last time and the girl behind the bar could care less this time. Cheaper elsewhere as well?

Lovely friendly staff, quick service, food wasn't the best, though. Food came out pipping hot but just wasn't to our taste. We had the cheese burger and the chicken burger.

Perfect reasonably quiet Monday night meal. Staff were super great. Suoer helpful. Food came out in timely manner. Hot and tasty as expected. Great parking facilities and easy to find. I would recommend.

They have a very good choice of vegan dishes, which are all delicious. The staff are genuinely welcoming and go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need.
Vegetarian options: The options I go for are vegan, such as vegan fish and chips, or vegan mushroom and ale pie - delicious!
