Lovely library with a nice little cafe and a great children's section... my son loves coming to look at the books and choose some new ones to take home and read

Visited 27/6, was more than impressed with the level of attention we received, the customer service advisor went above & beyond what would have been expected. A pleasant experience at a difficult time for us & was very appreciated.

Only used the library staff are friendly and helpful. Can be busy at times but they help where they can. Always a choice of books sometimes not a wide choice within the category. It is a small library but has everything for someone

Since the refurbishment nice & light with good selection of books, plus council services.
Only problem is car parking spaces too short so cars stick out into the road.

Spengo2 you need to change you name it's rubbish. There is a limited choice but the place is fresh and inviting.

Being a brand new building it is such a shame the council couldn't have been more inventive or at least sympathetic in the criteria of design for this building. Other parts of Garforth main street are beautifully old, many shop fronts still having single paned windows dripping with condensation. A good point to the design is that there is a 'geenroof' good for rainwater runoff collection, energy efficiency and reducing air particulates and solar panels for hot water heating too, though how much hot water would be needed in a library is questionable. The library space has been extended and 'The One Stop Centre' is housed inside too for housing, social services and council tax help can be found.
