UPDATED August 2025:
Fantastic to see the seabirds still providing excellent food and service several years on. I've been several times between now and my original review. This is my first visit though after having to unfortunately change my diet due to coeliac disease. I was chuffed to bits to find out that they had a great reputation within the coeliac/gluten free community on being able to provide outright non gluten containing dishes or being able to modify them.
Excellent communication and reassurance from the warm friendly staff on my choices. Great transparency on what they could and couldn't do. I enjoyed fish cakes for a starter and a chicken and bacon stack with a stilton sauce they whipped up for me. The chips as always were superb and done in their own dedicated fryer. Unfortunately I didn't leave room for desert but I'm sure the same care and choice would have been reflected in the deserts too.
Thank you to the team for a cracking meal and hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

Visited after seeing glowing reviews on Google and trip advisor. And they are well deserved, there can be a bit of a wait during busy periods but the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff, coupled with the great quality of the freshly prepared food make it worth the wait.
Real ales are available. During my visit they were mostly from national brewers but smaller local and regional ones have been available in the past.
The lamb shank and chips were awesome. As was the home made amaretto cheesecake!

All in all the food,service and atmosphere were great but the carpets were a bit dirty they could do with either being ripped out and having wooden floors as there is already some wooden flooring
We?ve been going here for ages when we?re on holiday in Flamborough and it?s a great place to go and not overly expensive and we will go back there is an extensive gluten free menu.
but please sort out the carpet situation.
