Had a one night stay here last Friday. Room was very comfortable. No air conditioning but there was a pedestal fan in the room which was effective. The shower was amazing. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. All the staff we met (Jane, Sue and Tonia) were really friendly and helpful.

Update 2025 - most (if not all) of the rooms have been redecorated and upgraded, now with new showers etc. Makes for an even better stay, with the regular comfortable beds and particularly friendly staff.
Original review: As you would expect from a Premier Inn. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, shower was easy to control and refreshingly powerful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Premier Inn breakfast is served near the reception (not in the next door pub) and there was plenty of fresh food (continental or full) to choose from. Would stay there again.

No air conditioning in room during hot summer season. Fan was provided but did not really do much. Other than that it was a perfect location for my needs.

Stayed here for work, so picked for convenient location near the M1. But I was pleasantly surprised by the green outlook, especially given it's located on a faceless business business park less than a minute off the motorway. With the window open there is some road noise but not much. With it closed it's very quiet. There are 3 floors I was on the middle one. It's a refurbished Premier Inn and room 224 was in great condition in their new style. I think Premier Inn is worth the slight trade up from other cheaper chain hotels especially in the locations where they've invested in a refit. Good job ??

For someone who regularly uses Premier inns all over Britain, this is the nicest room i have ever had. Most are all pretty much reflections of each other, this was alittle different when i walked in the room. Basic onsite restaurant although a restaurant/pub across the road. Staff seemed friendly enough, still yet to sleep though, being out and about as location is close to local amenities, restaurants and town centre.

Came down from Scotland to visit family. Location is super handy just straight off the M1 and it?s free parking. Stayed for two nights, the room was super clean and spacious and it had everything we could ask for. Louise at the reception was super friendly and welcoming, she helped us get everything sorted. Would highly recommend.

Great place ideal for us visiting nearby family.
The only disappointment,the vending machine was out of order so couldn't get a bottle of water. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Bed was so comfortable, very cosy room.
