Went to this cex with my partner to sell 3 mobiles which where brand new and sealed they claim upon opening the boxes and testing them that they couldn?t take them in due to them being from the United Arab Emirates they where brought in the uk and they also said there was no way of knowing without testing them yet when we got them back we noticed on the box is Arabic writing so that surely they should of known from that also they say there doesn?t need to be legislation on the website stating they only buy uk models of phones as they are a uk company also the Asian bloke serving myself when buying my ram seemed totally unhelpful at all and judging by some of the other 1 star reviews on here I will be avoiding the shop in the future and letting others know including head office about our dreadful experience

A few days ago I bought a DJI mini 3. A week later I started getting error 40002. I tried to use the warranty (CEX promises 5 years), but to no avail. They tried to tell me that I was crashing the drone. When I said no he implied I was a liar. Just a terrible experience.
I sent the drone to DJI for repair. And there they found out that the error was in the software after the update and not a breakage!

I recently visited CeX in Dewsbury with the intention of selling my mint condition mid-tier AMD 6600 GPU. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Initially, the staff seemed interested, but after advising me to return in an hour, I discovered their PC was unable to run the card properly. This situation not only wasted my time but also left me questioning the technical proficiency and operational standards at this particular location.
Overall, the process felt unprofessional and poorly managed. It is disappointing to see a reputable brand compromise on technical evaluation protocols. For potential sellers or buyers, I recommend verifying the testing setup before committing to any transactions to avoid similar frustrations.

Did not buy my air pods said they weren't original which they were they were the latest versions. Took to Leeds trinity they brought them straight away after 10 mins of checking. Would avoid this cex as the employees are very stuck up

Hi everybody, Be careful to buy anything from this cex shop from Dewsbury they make you fool that they have 5 years warranty on their phones because I bought I phone 12promax on 17th december 2024 and I didn't even use a half day and I found a fault in the phone and I showed the untraid staff and their behaviour was incredible rude and when they sell their phones or other devices to the customers just 1 person deals with you and told you 5 years warranty on the phones which is bull shit and when I took my 5 years under warranty phone back to the shop they all start arguing and been rude and when I ask for the manager to talk the guy said to me that he is a supervisor but I found his attitude absolutely disgusting and untrained anyway I don't recommend to anyone togo to the cex shop and waist your money
