We have just been for a spa break. The facilities were lovely - food excellent (love the bistro being in the spa). Beautiful evening meal. However, it was the staff that made the experience for us. Everyone went above and beyond - but Deborah in the hotel reception and Steph in the Spa were outstanding. Thank you!

We had our wedding reception here, Jemma and her team were amazing from start to finish.
Highly recommend as a venue

The best spa we have been to. Facilities are clean and inviting and very relaxing. It was the first time I have had a body scrub and massage so have nothing to compare it to. It was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back.

Do not visit here !! From start to finish staff were very rude towards me and my husband having a quiet afternoon in the spa. Reception staff were very rude with no front of house manners . After asking to speak to some form of manager about this it took 45 minutes for anyone to approach us as they said they were too busy with a wedding . Disgusting service
Rooms: Rooms are never ready on time .

A lovely hotel and good breakfast. Pleasant staff. I do take issue with you closing the bar at 11 for residents though. Very poor that.

A quirky hotel, wonderful staff, the rooms are a little dated and could do with a some TLC. Restaurant has a good menu, and the food was spot on. The Spa was the best part.

I recently stayed at the Gomersal Park Hotel, and my experience, especially in room 244, was far from satisfactory.
The room was very small and cramped, exacerbated by a sofa awkwardly placed in one corner. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with dust on the window sills, TV, and table. Additionally, the small table had stains from a previous guest that had not been cleaned off.
The room was extremely warm with no air conditioning or fan, making it uncomfortable. The TV, though well-placed, was very small and only offered a handful of Freeview channels. There were no curtains on the window, and the blinds did not keep the light out at night, disrupting sleep.
The bed was small, and the decor was dated with dark patches of potentially mold gathering at the ceiling and more dust on the skirting boards. The bathroom was tacky and not very clean, with dirt and dust on the floor and an old-fashioned shower that was impractical.
The welcome tray was average, offering small biscuits that were broken and crumbled. The lack of bottled water was disappointing, especially considering the room's heat. There was a distinct lack of plug sockets close to the bed.
There was no escape route diagram on the inside of the room door, which is concerning given the hotel's labyrinthine layout with corridors and staircases sporadically placed throughout, making it difficult to find a clear exit path.
The view from my window was quite depressing, overlooking run-down buildings and discarded furniture.
The pool and sauna were nice. However, the DreamSpa was disappointing and did not justify the £30 charge. The facilities included a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, and a collection of ice, which should be included for hotel guests. More than 10 people in the DreamSpa would make it feel cramped and busy.
I dined at Latitude 53 Bar & Grill. I had the Wagyu Burger for dinner, accompanied by fries and slaw. The meal was extremely nice and well-priced. The burger was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully, making it a memorable dining experience and contributes to the only highlight of my stay. The bar had a good selection of drinks and service was very good.
Breakfast was generally good, with a nice selection of hot food, cereals and fruit. However, the lack of a coffee machine and the use of a flask dispenser for coffee was disappointing. I was looking forward to a fresh coffee to start the day, and the flask coffee fell short of expectations.
The communal areas of the hotel are a highlight. The bar, restaurant, and gardens are very nice, providing a pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy. The gardens, in particular, are well-maintained and offer a lovely setting for a leisurely stroll or to simply unwind in the evening sun.
In stark contrast, the reception area and the corridors leading to the rooms are very run down and dated which is a theme that extends in to the rooms. These areas are in urgent need of refurbishment to match the quality of the communal spaces. The stark difference between these areas and the more polished public spaces creates an inconsistent experience.
In my opinion, my room did not meet a 3-star standard. This hotel has great potential, but I feel it needs significant investment for this potential to be fully realised and to offer a consistent and high-quality experience throughout. Given the numerous issues with the room and facilities, I am unable to recommend this hotel and will not be considering it for future stays.

A lovely, though dated hotel. I didn't use the spa facilities. The service was good throughout, though budget at least 90 minutes for an evening meal (3 courses). Food was very tasty.
The rooms are a bit dim. Ladies who need strong light should bring a selt-lit mirror. No power points beside the beds, so charge up your mobiles before going to sleep. Bedrooms are cosy though.

Bit dated, but sometimes this is what we need. Nice pond walk and open area. Food good, service good. All was a good visit.

Had a lovely stay and twilight spa and massage at gomersal hotel and the dream spa. All the staff were lovely and friendly, the lady on reception was always friendly and very helpful. The bar staff, night porter and breakfast staff were all lovely. We had a lovely time in the spa, again with lovely friendly staff at reception. The only down point was the room itself was a little dated but it was clean and comfortable, if a bit hot due to the weather but the receptionist kindly found us a fan which helped a bit.
Rooms: A little dated, and ours was too hot on a summer's day but the receptionist found a fan for us and the rooms were clean and comfy.
