Dealt with the Castleford branch for years as a family with our rental properties. As of late we?ve been dealing with Stacey at the branch who is THE BEST agent we?ve used! Nothing is too much trouble, if she says she?s doing something it gets done and all with a lovely attitude! I?ve recently had a property with an awkward tenant and she was there to help take action every step and get us back on the right track! Lovely young lady and a credit to the branch!! Thank you.

Poor service, don't answer phones, don't reply to left messages, don't respond quickly to enquiries. Example a text message sent to me for a viewing both on wrong day and wrong time then confirmed via a incorrect email. I had to inform them of there blunder.Incorrect details on house specifications sheets. No follow up quickly after a viewing for feed back .

Really great staff. Melissa and Stacey were great help in finding us a new home but their 3rd parties they use for references and payments are abysmal and I feel I have to take a star for that.

I can?t recommend the team at Reeds Rains Castleford highly enough, they are friendly, helpful and superb. From my first phone call to explain a difficult situation I was in having to deal with the estate of my brother Dave through to completion today on the last of 3 properties they have been wonderful. First time renter and the process was made effortless, massive thanks to Stacey, such a lovely young lady always willing to help, so chatty and polite! Couldn't have had a better experience! Worst experience ever. Do not use reeds Rains if you are looking to rent. They stall and stall in giving you your deposit back. The property management team give you lie after lie and are extremely unprofessional.Handed in my keys 29th August. After nearly 3 months I have only just got my deposit back. I was supposed to get a check out report the day after they dis their checks. Despite contacting them a few times a week. I was always told they will look into it and get back to me. They never did. After 7 weeks of going back and forth from the branch and the property management team, each pointing the finger at each other. They finally get back to me and decided they were going to take £240 to cut the grass, Despite me having email proof from the landlord that he was going to do it. Their response was contest it with deposit protection scheme as its the landlords fault, nothing to do with them. After reluctantly accepting the charge, I then spent another month going back and forth of them saying they would look into it and nothing happening. Fast forward to last week when they finally agree to give me my deposit back (minus the £240 charge for the grass cutting). They then sent me a quote of £498 for cutting the grass (good job i re checked the quote). I had to speak to a manager to get it back down to the original quote as per email they received. In what world does it cost £500 to cut a very small garden. Extremely unprofessional and trying to fleece tenants with huge unjustified charges. I do not recommend reeds rains to anyone. I have had months of stress over this. They do not protect the tenants at all and only care about getting the rent.

Gary and Stacey organised finding a tenant for a rental property. Gary initially gave advice in a friendly and professional manner, and all further contact was in the same manner.Stacey was my main point of contact whilst the property was being marketed. Her positive energy and bubbly character is wonderful - every phone call a ray of sunshine.The team found numerous proposed tenants swiftly, carrying out all subsequent and necessary checks with equal efficiency.

Great service as usual from reeds in Castleford. Gary was great in arranging viewing times that would fit around my work commitments, and Stacey is just lovely with a big twist of professionalism!Regarding some negative comments below, I think you?ll find that some properties are managed by landlords via reeds, and it will therefore be their responsibility to carry out maintenance issues?..the estate agents can only advise in this situation I would assume.Anyway, looking forward to moving in to my non artexed home. ?

I just want to say a massive thank you to the Castleford branch staff especially Alison but I think I've spoken to most of them over time. They have made everything so easy and even though my house has sold they are still been incredibly supportive and helpful due to some personal circumstances.I used there recommended solicitors open Law and I could not have asked for a better team to help Kara, Stephanie and Lisa have been amazing and are continuing to support me in the purchase which should follow in a few weeksThank you to all of you I could not have asked for any more wand everything I am going through they have all made it so much easierHighly recommended both

Reeds Rains in Castleford has been a lovely surprise. Very friendly staff who are experienced and knowledgeable, they absolutely do their best for their customers. Estate agents generally get a bad name, but this agency has been excellent. Still waiting to complete but the hard work is done.
